I've purchased my crossbody totes from Portland Leather for myself for Mother's Day the past two years. I LOVE the grizzly color. I also have purchased some of those little 'inserts' from Amazon that help keep things organized. As a Portland native, I love carrying a bit of 'home' with me.

Thank you for making this video!! I have a zippered medium crossbody in Sedona coming (my first PLG!!), and I mainly got the medium to be able to fit a book and/or water bottle. My youngest is also potty training, so I wanted to be able to fit a diaper & wipes or a couple snacks as well. I will def be getting the mini for when I run solo errands, since it will still fit my Kindle 💚

I love the medium and full size crossbody bags for everyday. And the medium tote is a perfect size for me too! I love the look of the mini, it’s just not practical for me for more than just the weekend, which is fine. I like to have options! I also fill bigger bags, so I get that.

I know that this video is old I have three Portland bags they are very heavy I have the crossbody that I love I hate I didn't get a zipper large tote with the zipper but they are very heavy bags you can't play around with it

I have the Medium Zippered Crossbody in Dune on its way now! Thanks for the heads up on Dune. I saw you say that a few weeks ago. And I’m the opposite, I like my bags zipped up and secure. But I do like things inside a certain way. I will put one of my 5 guitar straps on it and hopefully be very satisfied. This will make my 5th or 6 th PLG bags. Thanks for your videos and honesty.

This was a terrific review! I’m personally team zipper because of too many accidental spills lol. I have to say my favorite style so far is a tie between the Medium and Full-size Crossbody. I use guitar straps on mine. (Fellow chesty gal here hahaha.) I love my soft and slouchy leathers (Nutmeg, Sunflower), but I also adore the suede/nubuck feeling ones (Merlot, Deep Water). I feel like those hold their shape (& contents) much better while still being soft and pleasant to touch. As for the Mini, I want to love it, but it’s just too small for me. 😊 I’m not on Facebook but I have a few PLG bags that I’d love to sell to someone who’d love them.

Thank you! I’ve had accidents with my totes but refuse to learn my lesson. 😂 My friend just got a Deep Water and I really like it! I’m sorry the Mini is too small. I actually carried my new Kiwi today to work.

I use my minis on my day off for running errands, etc but the medium cross body is better for work days. I still prefer my tote backpack for work over the cross body, though.

Since getting the Honey, the full size is my most used. I don’t have the medium in Honey yet though… 😉

What a great video. I have several PLG totes and I’ve given a few to my daughter and granddaughter. I really love the Honey leather but I have to be so, so careful when I carry those totes because it scratches quite easily. My absolute favorite is my medium crossbody in Dune. I got the zippered version, just like yours, because I didn’t want the top to be so floppy. I don’t ever zip it, I just fold the leather flaps down inside and that gives the top more support. It’s an amazing bag. I’m like you, I like my belongings in my bag a certain way and my medium zippered crossbody is perfect for me. It’s such an easy bag for me to carry and I don’t have to fuss with it when I’m out and about. I am a petite 5’3” so the medium is too big for me to carry crossbody so I don’t even use the strap. I carry my small crossbody on days when I only need my wallet, sunnies and a couple of other small items. I do have a large bust so sometimes I don’t like the way a crossbody strap accentuates that! Lol I discovered your channel just now by accident…will subscribe😊

Have you found a good way to get out the scuffs in your honey bag? I just ordered a used one that has several scuffs & plan to fix it up to use

Hi! I love your detailed descriptions. have you tried the 12" extend? they are out of the 5 im Honey". I worry if 12" would be a bit much. we are about the same size for reference.

My favorite is the medium with zipper in possibly nutmeg. I wouldn’t use the crossbody strap as I don’t care for that look. I love the bag though!

Thank you for this video. It’s been really helpful. I missed out on Dune. If you ever sell your medium zippered Dune crossbody, let me know. I ordered a Sedona bucket bag and it’s on it’s way. I didn’t realize it scratches so easily. I’m hoping I love it.

It is a comfortable weight on its own. I would not worry at all about it, but you’ll probably not want to carry it all around town like that. 😅

I have the medium crossbody in nutmeg and love it. I've thought about getting the full size because I often carry an Iron Flask water bottle. By the measurements, it didn't seem like enough of a difference, but your video proved otherwise. I love the wider strap you bought. Where did you get that?

I love Honey if you want a lighter brown tone. But if you prefer a slouchy bag then go with a pebbled variety. Nutmeg is also gorgeous!

Do you prefer the zippered tote over not having it? Also is the zippered one slouchy? I hope you understand what I’m saying LOL

I would love to see you try a full-size crossbody in one of the more structured leathers. I think it would fast become a favorite of yours! 😍

@@samplans Yes, Honey is a beautiful & structured leather. I have 2 full-size crossbody totes (I’m a high school English teacher and tote lots!): one in Nutmeg and the other in Honey. I completely understand what you mean about everything having a place in your bag and knowing readily where that place is.
