Sometimes our cultures work against us. I mean what is this thing of "ka sepedi last born o sala ko gae"?? Most black marriages don't work out because of our cultures and traditions, they really set us back. They are designed mostly to oppress women or to prevent growth of the married couple.

It's always good to allow guests to express themselves in their language that they are comfortable with, especially if the host understands it. Sometimes, using English one loses meaning in what they want to express. Production must learn to include subtitles, because if we prioritise English in our multicultural country the channel will end up losing the opportunity of having great guests because of the language barrier. Well done guest for insisting on sharing your experience exactly as you've experienced it❤

The first mistake she did was being at her own wedding where only the husband's family was present! 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩. I'm sure there were many red flags before that day but she overlooked them.
Ladies, if you want peace, keep a distance from your in-laws. Irrespective of what they say, keep a firm distance, visit once in a while and never ever ever think you are one of them. You are an enemy of their financial freedom. Only keep them close if you are married to their ‘phara’

Good improvement with the subtitles...the guests should be free to mix with their language without feeling like they are compromising their story. You also give a good balance by trying to mix with english when its you speaking👏
I wish she can strengthen herself spiritually coz wow,she is dealing with the devils who will kill.but all in all may God protect her.

Sister-in laws shout out loud this lady to have a baby as if they want to sleep with their brother. The main cause that led to this marriage to crumble is the mother-in-law and her evil daughers.
Sometimes our cultures work against us. I mean what is this thing of "ka sepedi last born o sala ko gae"?? Most black marriages don't work out because of our cultures and traditions, they really set us back. They are designed mostly to oppress women or to prevent growth of the married couple.

Thanx for adding subtitles🎉
It's good to express yourself in vernacular (language you can best express yourself), but remember your show has international viewers. I am from Ghana, I love to listen to your interviews, most of which are life lessons. Please let's have more English. Lol ❤
Thank you promised for this interview, we are learning a lot 🙏♥️
Pronise love your colour clothing combination simple but tops🎉❤🎉
Thank you for the subtitles Promise. However some of subtitles were not going hand in hand with what the lady was saying which was misleading to the reader. We can only improve from here. All the best❤

But vernacular has NEVER been Pedi. She is referring to all SA indigenous languages. Xhosa is aso vernac. That's way she said if you do not understand the vernacular language being spoken in that interview [in most cases it's sePedi]. Then English and the subtitles will be of assistance. This is also on assumption that the listeners are multi-lingual. She wasn't being ignorant. You just took it personally without listening to understand 😂😂😂

Really some evil plot was behind your sickness. You almost died and God said not my child. Praise God for your life Portia. With regard to the house ya ko gae yes is his mother's land but the house you built it with everything in it. A good lawyer will crush them. Let them have it but you have the house in Gauteng and he pays spousal maintanance. Find a good lawyer for yourself sesi otherwise it will be difficult to depend on his lawyer and him to be fair to you. Seek God Ausi this is not normal go to a church that will deliver you. Your felopian tube was destroyed purposely. That man loves you but his mind o loketswe ka pitjeng and is programmed.
