Porter was one of my favourite singers when I was about 12 , still love listening to him singing .. Love his monologue’s .. real tear jerkers .. I also love the costume that they wore way back then! Bobby Bare is also a great singer and writer love him singing too, another one of the greatest!! Also love Norma Jean fabulous singer too !! When you look at the fun free-flowing way the band moved and played as well as Porters real delivery, it's easy to see why this show was popular. Great music, the Nudie suit!. What an impact on country!.

Many years ago I played a fair or festival in Summerville TN and Speck was there. He came up and did a song on my show: Long Journey Home. I was starstruck.

I was thinking the same thing. I was born in 1967, and I remember the Wagon House being gray, not green. Couldn't tell ya just when they repainted it in gray instead of green, though.
