It's close to Db, but it's actually sitting in the microtonal areas - not entirely sure whether its # or b. Reason I know is because I just tried to play the slowed down version on keys and pitches were way off. Beautiful song either way though :)

Holy shit it’s been a year. I still remember being recommended 5 days after it was released around a few thousand views. During that time was starting my a server, and started coding Discord bots because they just announced the Discord bot badge. The server reached the top 5 servers in my region and top 100 global, we started a Patreon and got partnered with the developers of the game. The bot on the other hand reached over 2000 Discord servers and had over 270,000 users. I remember spending countless nights listening to your slowed down songs. I would code and work until 3-4am sitting down looking at my screen coding. Thank you. Jesus this song brings so much memories. Thank you

The nostalgic melancholy that comes from listening to a slowed and reverb song gives me chills

I didn’t know my heart was a stick of butter until I heard those violin notes in the wind down at the end for the first time. Then it melted.

I was listening to this song when I tried to finish a fking hundreds page of thesis. Man time sure flies fast

I'm moving back home after living across the country for the last 3 years. Coincidentally this is all happening during the midst of all the crap that's happening. This song feels incredibly emblematic of where I'm at. It forces me to reflect on the last 3 years both on the good and the bad but it also invites me to look at the future with hope and this idea that even though I'm going back to the place that raised me for the first 19 years of my life there's an invitation to start anew. I already loved this song but man this mix just hits different. Thank you for putting this together.

I hope you are happy. I am in the current situation you were in. I moved across countries during the pandemic (almost 3 years ago), and I am now moving back and then going to college. I am stressed.

yeah...this slowed version just shows that you have to take things slow. it doesn't matter if you're being left behind, what's important is that you're keep going and progressing towards something that is comforting :3.

I went to law school for my parents but always wanted to be a writer. I never gave up on my dream and am about 1/5 into book 2 of a series I hope to publish some day. As I approach the bar exam, a moment that feels like a test of everything that defines me, I think of what keeps me tethered, pieces, like the characters I create who support me in their struggles, music like this, dreams and hopes that seem so far away. My especial hope is found in videos like these with thumbnails that give you that same sort of feeling. This is extra af, and idk about motorcycles cause the exhaust/heat should rise up from the top one, but at least in some cars (due to piping) it's normal to have one side of the exhaust be more favored.

I'm surprised by how much better this simple edit makes it.

This version has a more comforting vibes to it, and it definitely hits you much harder and deeper in your soul. Don't know if its the much deeper voices, or the reverb, or my love for these kind of slowed down mixes. Not saying that the original is trash or something, no offense to Porter Robinson.
