Because the majority of music that takes the spotlight is popcorn-like, commercial rubbish. Most people want no more than a catchy melody and beat out of their music, not a euphoric experience. That's why music like Porter's isn't as successful as it deserves to be.

Still to this day, my favorite show of all time has been Porter's set the summer of 2013 in Austin. Though Worlds wasn't out yet, listening & getting to experience "Language" was like a dream come true. I saw hime live again when he came with Madeon & that was just perfect, too. When I was really depressed and had no motivation to live, I would listen to this song. This song makes me so happy yet emotional because it reminds of the times I could've ended it all. But I'm here now and I will continue to listen to it because I believe it's a song that truly saves me from my dark inner thoughts.
You are victorious, you stand in the seat of the king, you restored peace to that place. People start ringing bells across the city, in sign of relief and happiness. You enter the little town you've entered the first time you arrived in this world, you are a hero, happy ending huh?
I was blasting this song on a long stretch of road surround by big sky and farmland, summer in full swing. I was heading back to my house with my family waiting for me. That was about 3-4 weeks ago. I'm now 7,000 miles away for work. This song makes me feel a little less homesick. Thank you Porter, for making beautiful music
..I came back here because my mind had this exact song stuck inside my head this morning... how can I forget about the greatness that is Porter Robinson- ..Seriously his music is calming to the soul..
Member when this album camed out ...it will never die because I'm a part of his music if I listen....so many memories
Living in a cruel world, Trudging with my feet in the snow, On a day out, And it's a night now. Doctor, I've been walking by the side of the road, For a long time, And I'm going out of my mind. So far from me now, But oh I can hear the sound It's so far from me now, But oh I can hear the sound So far from me now, But oh I can hear the sound It's so far from me now, But oh I can hear the sound Can't you hear the bells sing in Cologne? You won't hear it on the radio Madness is a hero carnival Can't you hear the bells? Sitting on a rooftop, Crazy days are coming again I'll be running, But I'll be hidden in the masquerade So far from me now, But oh I can hear the sound It's so far from me now, Oh I can hear the sound Can't you hear the bells sing in Cologne? You won't hear it on the radio Madness is a hero carnival Can't you hear the bells? So far from me now, Oh I can hear the sound So far from me now, Oh I can hear the sound So far from me now, Oh I can hear the sound So far from me now, Oh I can hear the sound Can't you hear the bells sing in Cologne? This song helped pull me out of depression. I met a new friend and I discovered a new subgenre of music to enjoy because of you. Thank you for changing my life.
This song just like the rest of Porter's songs on this album specifically are so relatable in so many ways. I love this one because where I am in Michigan, it's winter, I have Seasonal Affective Disorder. I get extremely depressed in the winter. I'm also very much of a nature person, who desperately loves venturing out into the forest on warm days doing whatever and finding myself at peace and happiness. It's one of the only ways I can find peace and happiness. It's not the same when the leaves, grass, clear skies, and warm temperatures are there. This song describes simply the misery and how long I've been without nature. I love listening to it so much specifically for that reason, and for hope that spring will come soon.

I relate this song heavily with winter times so for me it does :)
I was playing this song and a car commercial came on tv and it synced perfectly!
Was just playing this in my car on my way home from work! Still super buzzin and happy from the Tulsa show!! :)
How does one simply not listen to Porter? This is simply addictive, this whole album.. my gosh. It's amazing.
Play this song at 11.58.35 so you can hear the bells at midnight
Porter Robinson is pure art.
11/9/2021, still hearing this masterpiece
