    1- make sure bottom screw is tight (bottom drain valve). 2- attach air hose. 3- turn off regulator pressure knob. 4- turn on compressor and let it build pressure; it will shut off automatically. 5- after use, drain bottom valve, (release all air) because it can start building up liquid inside of tank and with time, it can rust and it can be very dangerous.

    I just bought one. I'm glad you made this video man. I won't be using mine for any big projects or anything. It just seems like a few times a year I wish I had an air compressor for whatever reason that I didn't have. So finally I solved that issue.

    Hopefully you have the regulator open since the pressure in the line is building the same as the tank pressure. If not, the pressure regulator is not functioning. Thanks for posting this.

    You didn't mention the "Break-in Procedure", to be done BEFORE FIRST USE (it is stated on the manual, under OPERATION: - Open the drain valve (counter- clockwise) fully to permit air to escape and prevent air pressure build up in the air tank during the break-in period. - Run the compressor for 15 minutes. Make sure the drain valve is open and there is minimal air pressure build-up in tank. - After 15 minutes, close the drain valve by turning clockwise. The air receiver will fill to "cut-out" pressure and the motor will stop. The compressor is now ready for use.

    Hi . I have owned a c 2006 compressor for quite a few years. I’m a finish carpenter by trade so it gets heavy use. My problem lately is it’s starting to cycle off and on about 2 second intervals. Does anyone else have this problem??

  • @nicholasquirk7634

    @nicholasquirk7634

    Could be a leaky hose. I had the same issue, replaced the hose, and it stopped cycling on and off constantly. You could also replace the head if it's just the head that's leaking on you. I just wanted a retractable since the old one would get run over in the garage and that probably led to it getting punctured. Not all leaks are obvious at first. I thought it was the compressor until I checked the line

    Steve Pringle I bought one, I have the one that comes with two nailers and a stapler. It shuts off automatically when the tank is full. In the video, he should have closed the regulator (knob on the right) until the tank fills up. Then open it to the desired pressure, for whichever application he is using it for (nailer, tires, ect). It handled my nail guns just fine, and I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

    Left gage (for tank) doesn't go beyond 90psi for me with the regulator closed or open so I shut it off when it reaches there. Going to try without attachments the next time I need to clean as I think that might be the issue. Edit: Yellow coiled hose set from Wynnsky Tools 20 pc kit.

    *This is INSANELY nice.💫 **allabout.wiki/Compressor** i got a Bostitch 6 gallon pancake and the regulator broke, and it was stupid loud. Also, the gauges barely worked. it wouldnt even power a die grinder. But this little dude ROCKS. Its not only 1/4 as loud as the Bositch, it works like a fine tuned machine should. Kudos to California Air Tools! This performs EXACTLY as advertised. Cant beat the price either.*
