Portal Switch vs Steam Deck Graphics Comparison (Portal Companion Collection - Portal 2)
Ойындар
Portal Companion Collection (Portal 1 and Portal 2) on Nintendo Switch compared to Portal 1 and 2 on Steam Deck. Can you tell the difference?
It’s time for a portable Portal punch-out as Valve’s classic puzzle platformer game faces off against itself with handheld versions on both Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. Portal 1 and 2 were originally released on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 (PlayStation 3), and Mac, with Portal 1 released as part of the The Orange Box bundle in 2007 (along with Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, and Team Fortress 2) and Portal 2 released as a standalone game in 2011.
Now Portal has arrived on Nintendo Switch in the Portal: Companion Collection with both the original Portal and Portal 2 included. It features all the content from the original games, including the evil robot GLaDOS (played by Ellen McClain), the loveable artificial intelligence Wheatley (played by Stephen Merchant), companion cubes, portal guns, and cake. Or maybe not. The cake is a lie. Or is it?
But what’s really interesting is Valve recently debuted their own handheld gaming console to rival the Nintendo Switch - the Steam Deck - and both Portal 1 and 2 can be played on this device. So, how exactly do these two portable versions of Portal stack up against each other? Are there any big differences, or is the difference negligible? Join us for this graphics comparison as we compare Portal on Nintendo Switch to Portal on Valve’s Steam Deck!

Definitely 1 for me. 2 didnt have the same effect for me. I played through it once and kind of forgot about it. I never played the co-op though and I know that was a big part of the appeal. This will give me a chance to revisit 2.

Would be nice to have a battery life comparison between the two, since both devices have native ports of portals now
I love the Portal games. Really need to replay them at some point.
Portal 2 looks slightly better on Deck but Portal 1 is practically identical, I'm surprised the Switch version holds up as well as it does

Apologies, we put it live early, if you come back later it will process and be in 4k!
I own Portal 1 and 2 but have never played either, This is a mistake that I must rectify

uhm looks the same thanks i really wanted to see if there was a new thing or 2 but there ain't so thanks
Dunno why Valve ported Portal 1 and 2 to Switch but not Xbox or Playstation. Users of those systems arent able to play Both games.

There is an Xbox 360 port of both Portal and Portal 2 that is playable on Xbox One. Portal 1 and 2 are on PlayStation 3.
The switch Version is better because of the translation errors in the menu when playing in german
They look the same
