Portals would be very hard not impossiable to do in a vr game due to needing a very complex code just to make it work then you need the textures for the portal to look like a portal and then fix any problems with it and perspective and camera editing if the portals are at an angle.

I don't have real VR device like HTC Vive but atleast I use some mods to play VR like I use my phone and Google cardboard for VR headset and Nintendo switch JOYCON for VR Controller.
