Not what i expected, but i love it. I was actually wondering what channel i had subscribed to on accident. Luckily, this is Antweight combat robots and a few other cool things like a Halloween costume that any portal fan will be jealous of. (Ar least i am)

Posting this comment here in case it's missed on the older vids. Are you able to fill Cheesecake with shock absorbent foam? It might be useful for handling big impacts by distributing the force into the foam and cause the chassis to become more solid, for not much added weight.

Cheesecake does have something similar already implemented: The white angled bumpers all around him are 3D printed with about 10% infill, which does act like a springy foam. As for all the internals and electronics, I haven't yet noticed an issue with them being damaged purely by impacts from outside.

@@alexsalchemy I see, that does show that there is not much need for it then. The reason I suggest a foam on the interior is so that when the external armor is damaged in one spot, instead of spreading outwards along the armor section to break it further, the force is instead absorbed by the foam inside which is dug into, dispersing the impact somewhat. however for this to be useful compared to your current setup, the entire interior would need to be filled with foam so that it can properly absorb the shock, and i'm not sure about the weight in that case. I think realistically it'd only be useful for preventing cracking that spreads sideways and leads to deformation/tearing of the material. Better the foam is sacrificed than the external armor, which might otherwise split and fall off.

I don't think NHRL has a 1lb weight class. At least on their registration page, the lowest I could see is 3lb.
