PORTAL is a granular synthesis FX plugin that transforms audio in a forward-thinking and musical way.
Turn your VSTs, drum samples or any live input such as vocals or guitars into infinite new possibilities.

Features:
250+ presets for immediate playability
A circular visualizer linked to granular parameters
Powerful time manipulation engine
Tempo - synced grain delay
Musical scale - based pitch modulation
7 built - in FX with an additional master ompressor and filter
Value readout panel for better understanding of controls
Favoriting feature in Presets menu
Built - in Tool Tips on Advanced page
Advanced
Go beyond the presets and mess with grain controls, modulation and FX in PORTAL’s advanced features.
Time Stretch
Slow down and stretch your sounds, then easily sync them to your master tempo or leave them unsynced for a more experimental vibe.
Humanize
Add natural - sounding variations to envelopes for less repetitive, more organic sounds.
Pitch Shift
Alter the pitch of your sound without affecting its length or timing. Lock it into a scale for the most musical result.

6:34 you can actually right click on the mix slider and lock it in place, that way you can flip presets without adjusting the mix each time

Hi and thanks a lot for this video: I use Portal since a while, but you showed me how to use it a bit more efficient. Can you please tell me from which pack you took the EWS Chior preset from? It's a preset for Serum, right? Is it also available for Massive? It sounds very nice.

I have a little question.. So I have a iMac late 2011 with i5 processors. Osx i run is Yosemite, i know its all kinda out dated but why fix it when it aint broke. My Question is: Would Portal work on my setup? On their website it says that Portal requires i7 processor's, is this true? Thanks...

  • @inkrot

    @inkrot

    5 жыл бұрын

No where does it say it needs an i7. Even if it did.. all you need to worry about is what format it comes in and what daw it supports. It comes in VST 2 / 3, AAX, and AU. So that supports all major DAW's.
