If you ever get a chance, play "the lab" for vr, it has a section where you can actually see glados to scale and dear God she's gigantic. It's absolutely terrifying, a monitor cannot properly convey her scale

I love how electrical and chaotic Portal 2's Score is. It reminds you how the game is really set centuries into the future, where the only life remaining is machine and non-human, presumably all Humans except the ones in Aperture are long gone. Portal 2 is probably Valve's best game since Half-life 2. ;)

Portal is actually set in the Half-Life timeline so at the same time we're shooting portals all around and overthrowing giant computers, the outside world is being enslaved by aliens and being pushed back by a man in an orange suit with a crowbar

God this soundtrack is amazing. The subtle, faded grandeur of The Future Starts With You, the chaotic anticipation of Courtesy Call, the the curious excitement of the Friendly Faith Plate, the sheer sorrow in GLaDOS’ voice in PotatOS Lament… absolutely incredible. When I hear Love As A Construct, for some reason I feel… warm. Not in a comforting way per se, but more like heat from a sweaty workshop, the exhaustion of a hard day’s work mixed with the satisfaction of a job well done. It really makes me feel like a test subject, making my way through tests and though I’m getting tired, I keep going, relishing each success. Idk maybe I just have synthesia

Such a deep and fitting soundtrack for this game. I'm just waiting for another installment (Weather it be Half-Life 3 or Portal 3-or one giant crossover game) having a scene where the Combine raid Aperture Laboratories and GLaDOS does something about it.

I remember playing portal 2 for the first time 5 years ago. It may not have been that long, but it still makes me super nostalgic.
