I love how inefficient this machine is. Uses like, twice the Conversion Gel necessary. Shoots a bunch of metal storage lockers and destroys them for no reason. Slices up the portal surface to be smaller, also for no reason. Uses one enormous diamond for each cut, then ejects the diamond from the machine and switches to the next one. Packs up the portal surface into a box, moves it via forklift like two feet, then drops it and it gets unpacked and moved

this one is easily my favorite portal promo!
I swear, Cave Johnson is one of the best video game characters ever.
and thats how the combine took notice of earth
A multiverse of infinite Apertures conning each other to pay for their stuff.
Chariots chariots
Just noticed this after watching this trailer for the ♾️time, look at the screen at the top right screen at 1:13. I think that guy's working on a whole different kind of test.
Funny! Cave Johnson is the best narrator in the world.
One thing I enjoy about this is when you play the fan made chambers you actually are one of the stick men from these videos with a portal gun
"Do not distribute to other Earths" Oh Valve...
So, everyone who has Portal 2 is now an official Aperture Science Test Chamber Designer. AWESOME, I ALWAYS WANTED TO WORK FOR APERTURE!
I saw one that says "TEST" on it. Wheatly would've done that, too.
This is still the greatest update in the history of updates, and the Portal 2 mapping community is still incredibly active.
Valve's Ad team is on point, damn. Meet the Team and The portal series? Perfect. Maybe they made the right call not going 3 with any of their original IPs, they didn't wanna ruin them accidentally.
the PeTI really makes you FEEL like an underpaid aperture science employee

Me: Wow, Dark Nights Metal looks like an interesting story to read. When Reading the Comic: 0:39
This is like the best expansion ever to a game... and it's free. GG VALVE!
What makes Valve such a great company is that it's entirely self-funded. No external investors who's only interested in profit. Also their flat dynamic organization is a great environment for creativity.

0:12 Halo Reach Plasma Launcher sound
Still classic of all time. I always return to these trailers once in awhile after i create a few more testcchambers(i use Hamme++ btw). And i am always learning something new, like repulsion and propulsion gels being first made as dietic puddings, or excursion funnels being liquid asbestos. I am also an a beta tester for Portal 2 Community Edition, i am really glad that its team so much cares for this game(not releasing soon tho).
Portal is easily the greatest puzzle game of all time.

1:23 Frick bridge constructor I want this as a game
this is probably the greatest thing ever. i love playing other peoples' test chambers.
0:37 When video game and movie companies run out of ideas for a coherent and interesting plot
I love the little text on the bottom of each section
Interesting that JK Simmons is a VA for Cave Johnson, Omniman and JJJ, all of the 3 (portal, Invincible, Spiderman) has a multiverse.
