@@logda6836 we're able to move the camera to any angle instantaneous using TAS, so that's not an issue. There's no reason we ever *need* zoom, it's just for visual presentation - we don't actually use it much

glad to know i was always looking up, down, and at art with TAS level efficiency

I love that the TAS has so much character put into it too. Like 21:20, carrying the turret and bhopping backwards to the lift because fuck it, why not? Incredible work to everyone!

Because that would lose time. We actually use the turret there to boost ourselves, which gives us speed, saving like a second on this segment. But yeah, I do agree that personalities of TAS creators resonate through their creations. Glad you enjoyed it!

@@Krzyhau that's insane, and y'all are insane 😂 I watched the GDQ version and was amazed that the turret is actually useful there. New favorite part is probably shooting the turrets as they explode while confronting glados. But fr I appreciate y'all so much for bringing so much attention to speedrunning my favorite game. When I started speedrunning in 2013 I would have never guessed it would get this far!

I'm really glad that it turned out so well and that everyone likes it so much. The hard work definitely payed off :)

I just imagine chell as this coke infused, adrenaline rush having crazy person just vibrating intensely at the end of the game having achieved the power of flight simply by dodging gravity waves.

This was an amazing TAS and everyone working on it put their hardest into it. Still can't believe it's finally done.

You forgot to explain which cutscene! It's the cutscene when GLaDOS wakes up, which you end early by standing on the incinerator. The game gives you godmode during cutscenes to make sure you can't die in the middle of them. Since this cutscene didn't actually end, you keep godmode, and it's maintained between levels.

Unreal that it's here, when I asked for a SP TAS after the Co-Op one i was told this wasn't gonna happen yet here it is, Satisfying and Surprising Run :O!!!

The slow turn in The Fall made me so sick hahaha. Absolutely sick run everybody!!

I love the mouse tracking and cutscene timed firing, it really didn't need to be there, but they did it anyways, just for the audience

2022 may be a bad year but at least we have Portal 2 full game TAS.

The thing with an any% tas, is that the majority of it would be just saving and loading out of bounds to fly to loading boxes. It would be boring to TAS and boring to watch.

@@dord3298 it may be "boring to watch" for an average viewer, but there is still a demand to see portal 2 as fast as possible, and I know that I would personally be willing to work on an any% TAS. The tools in their current state would have to be reworked in order to better support TASing with SLA, but I believe that sometime within the next few years there might be an any% TAS released.

I love that there are still moments where nothing can be done, so they just play around just like a normal speed run.

So at the end I noticed the timer and neurotoxin were still on. Is that normal, or did skipping the cores cause it to be left on? Related note, glados says killing you is hard when she literally just had you unconscious and could've gassed you at any point. She had at least long enough to completely fix things, so that suggests she had more than the 5 or so minutes neurotoxin apparently takes.
