About 2 hours
Enclosing the coil inside a metal container would make the fire hotter.
It will just take you an hour to fill and three to heat up lol The sort of people that would buy one of these are the sort of people that would also wear high heels climbing a mountain.

I like it but is there PVC in it or other toxic plastics? I'm going to make one with cedar wood but o like this

PVC pipes are often used for drinking water plumbing and considered safe. The portable tub does contain PVC and although we wouldn’t recommend drinking from it it is completely safe to soak in. If you are building a cedar tub and looking for a stainless steel heating coil check out our coil kit. It includes the hoses and fittings to attach our coil to any tub :)

Does the steam circulate the water

The heat from the fire causes the water in the water in the coil to rise so it circulates naturally without a pump. This process is referred to as thermosyphon. The water in the coil does not turn into steam because cooler water is always being pulled into the bottom of the coil.

You can use water from the ocean, river, lake or tap. A small electric water pump can fill it or buckets work too

You can use water from an ocean, lake or river. Buckets or a small electric water pump work great for remote locations

Bring your own if it so remote. Also should you be looking at a portal spa if the location your going or at has no water?

@@billoh2394We recommend setting up next to a water source for easy filling and a nice view of the water. If your going to a desert a portable hot tub might not be for you!
