Yup, same concept.
@mattpasker6250 Жыл бұрын
When skidding with my portable winch I prefer a landing zone with a tall sturdy tree and set a block as high as possible. Little extra setup time but greatly reduces ground friction by lifting the front of log allowing you to pick larger pieces and they arrive with way less dirt. Love the channel, happy cutting.

That winch is pretty cool. I would skid them out with my ATV but I always have trees that blow down and get hung up in other trees. Have a few now and imagine this could be a big help with that. A lot of times I just hook onto them with my tractor and give them a tug that is at least if I can safely get in and out of there with the tractor. Out in the woods though I normally just skid them right out with my side by side or ATV mostly that since its a lot easier to see what you are doing sitting on it instead of inside a cab and it can get into tighter areas. Its still massive its one of those Artic Cat Mud Pro with big ass basically tractor tires on it.

Yup, same concept.
