This is another product review video for my channel.
And today I'll be talking about my first impressions on this tyre inflator that I have just purchased from eBay Australia in January 2023.
I have decided on buying a portable tyre inflator because where I live it is becoming increasingly difficult to find petrol stations where the air and water self stations for customers are available and in working order. Many servo stations these days either don't have them anymore or have them in poor condition thanks to careless use by members of the public.
Knowing the importance of keeping tyres pressure to manufacturers recommendations for both performance and safety, I then decided it was time to get myself a portable tyre inflator for my convenience.
The one I chose is the model VC027 made in China and purchased in January 2023 from eBay Australia for about 40 Aussie dollars.
This product I chose comprises of 10-pieces:
1- Storage bag
2- Users manuals (English and Mandarin)
3- 12V DC cable charger
4- type C USB cable
5- 10cm flexible air hose
6- 4-needles set
7- portable tyre inflator with Digital gauge
Everything looks of average quality to me.
The device has a modern look. It is small and light weight making it easy to store either at home or in the car.
One of the features that makes this product stand out from others is that it offers the option to use it plugged on a 12V DC outlet from a vehicle or cordless powered by its internal battery that can be charged via USB.
I've noticed that most tyre inflators available on eBay don't offer these two options together. Only one or another.
I find it cool that I can plug it in the car 12V outlet if the device is running low on battery but I can also use it cordless (battery powered) if I wish to pump air into my bike tyres as bikes aren't normally fitted with a 12V DC outlet.
Let's now talk about the device.
It's LCD screen is large and easy to read regardless the ambience brightness.
Operation is very simple with 5 well sized buttons positioned below the screen.
On/off, mode selection for car, bike, bicycle and inflatable toys as well as unit selection (psi/bar/kPa/kgf/cm2), increase/decrease pressure and SOS (which turns on the torch).
On the bottom of the device you find the power plug for the DC cable, and both a type C and a USB connector.
On the top part is the torch light and the air outlet where the air hose connects.
On the back there isn't anything really. It is plain. Just air vents.
