The problem that I have is we don't have a huge back yard and my dog always uses the bathroom in the same area . So that means he's always coming in with not muddy but very stinky paws. So I always wipe his paws off but the smell doesn't go away completely. Does this do a pretty good job to remove the smell ? And his shampoo doesn't have a strong smell so would you recommend adding anything else besides shampoo? Maybe dish washing soap?

Miguel hmm you could try to get another shampoo, although I think most shampoos don’t have overwhelming scents. But I wouldn’t hesitate to use dish soap either since it’s safe on animals. I think this product could help you, especially just with convenience since you’re having to treat your dog’s paws each time. The only thing I’d add since filming this is it really helps to agitate the soap as you’re adding the water so it gets nice and foamy. I hope this helps if you decide to try it!

You can also do some work training him to pee in the same space and occasionally water that down. My dad takes his out to an area that has stones and he doesn’t have to rinse the area but it is a large area of stone. Obviously if you are talking poo then cleaning up every day and if it is watery then hose the area. If still bad, maybe using this device and changing water between paws. Keep a hose nearby.

We use hartz pomegranate shampoo for our dog! I had the same problem so I actually went into the store and found the strongest smelling one I could and I have to say it works really well! There are also deodorizing sprays you can buy!

I listened to one of your songs earlier today and now I see you here lol

I love dogs but when I got my first dog back Dec 2019, I struggled so much bc of my germaphobia.. The dirty paw and the prints all over the house was driving me nuts! I was putting alcohol so at least I got a peace of mind around any bacteria but the dirt was .. any neat freak prob understands lol

It doesnt even have to be a germaphobe. My anxiety hits new levels when my shih tzu comes in from outside bc he has white hair and i can visually see the mess 👀

Can you do it with actual mud on the paws?

If they’re really muddy, you may want to try to clean the off some before using this. And then I would rinse it out really well after, letting it air dry.

have you thought of moving the plunger up and down instead of 'dipping the paws and moving the oaw up n down? just use less water so it won't spill... Just a suggestion

Also hold the tumbler in your hand & twist back & forth ,I saw this on mud buster,just ordered mine to put baking soda in it to treat my dogs allergies on her paws

Another big issue (aside from mud) is the products used to desinfect floors, streets and door mats now with the pandemic. Most people use bleach and it's very harmful to the paw pads and the stomach too. If the dogs lick their paws and swallow bleach ...it causes real problems :(

I currently use the motorized Dogness one. It's grrrrrrreat!!!

I had this product and found it to be very dangerous for the dogs hind legs. The front paws weren't an issue but the hind legs aren't really suitable and you risk injuries to the dog if you're not careful. Save your money and just use a damp cloth instead

I wish my husky was this easy.

Thank God. I haven't been finding much reviews for these things.. my dog is a black husky with white paws and underbelly...and thennnnnnn he jumps on me in my pj's bcuz ya know: it's always fun to clean up at 2am. Thank you for this vid.

We use a brand called Buddy Wash that we get from Chewy.com! The scent we use is “lavender and mint”

Dog at 4:46 🤷🏼‍♂️ You can still design your own man. Like you said, you can’t be the only one.

I usually carry my dog to the tub, add a bit of water and use a designated dog paw rag to rub. I’ll put his shampoo on the rag too if water alone won’t do. This product seems gimmicky. I hope it worked out long term

Yeah, it seems what you do is the best alternative to truly clean their paws. At this point, I’m not sure I would recommend this product or one like it.

Sadly, we had to put Indie down in November last year. But I pretty much used this up until the end. Probably a no-brained, but I would recommend dumping the water each time.

@@gcfun I have 2 of them, 1 in kitchen at at garden door and 2 front door Somehow it works I have 7 month black lab and 15yr old black lab (both pure) it works like magic ! They step on it all the dirt comes off (90% of it) then damped towel in water or even dry sometimes and clean paws :D I think my method is more efficient as its quick towel rub on each paw (2-3sec each paw) to the rug exactly, there is plenty to pick from ! Go ahead and see if your local pet store has it or amazon it haha, plus it's washing machine good and tumbler dryer good

Takes a little extra effort, but use a towel to dry. I’ve got this down to a science now and it only takes me maybe 2 minutes? Thanks for watching, hope this helps!

There was no dirt on her to start. You can see the cement didn't have any mud staining. I wish you would have shown a real dirty situation. Long video to get to a meh conclusion.

That’s fair. While she may not have been as muddy in the video as some dogs may get, she has definitely tracked in mud before. But thanks for watching and for your feedback - apparently I ramble a lot and have taken this into account for future videos!

Yeah, since filming this I’m not sure I would endorse it again. There’s no good way to really clean it out in between washes so it gets pretty gross. My pup passed away last year so I’m not using it but I’ve already I won’t use it for the next one.

Did anybody notice how he just kept talking and talking and didn't show nothing. he didn't even show the dirt in the water. He didn't even explain it right didn't show nothing well I didn't like it he had no emotion very boring it wasn't helpful at all
