Nice set up. A tip: get a plastic boot tray to stand on. Nice on rocky ground so you can stand barefoot. Then just let it dry and use it outside tent, camper, etc. If even that's too big, a bit of shadecloth, the tough stuff that's mesh, works pretty well too, although harder on the bare feet. But water drains through it. A tougher situation is where the campground or are forbids spewing gray water from the shower around, but we've managed that by stanking in a bucket or using the shower want on say your hair, etc over one. Which is a big benefit of shower solutions like this.

That is a great idea. We used the shower set up this past weekend and we actually were on some sharp gravel rocks. The boot tray sure would have come in handy. Thank you for the tip.

How about a cheap vehicle floor mat? Most have a non skid surface on them so you don't fall down.

we found that if you hang the bucket you are pumping from up higher it sure helps out the lil pump work much easier. i tell ya my Jenn has folding that thing down pat, like you, i dont even try lol

F150 My F150 has over 210,000 miles and still going strong.

I used flip flops in an outdoor shower when I was in Vietnam 2014. Worked great it was easy to brace against the wall to wash my feet and step back into the flip flops but the tent would not work for that b

I bought this exact shower tent (mine is blue) after watching this video. This shower tent has good head room when standing. Other shower tents are too narrow. I have a similar shower pump and except mine does not have the rechargeable battery. Eventually that little seal plug will go bad and the battery will die. My shower pump has a 12v cigarette lighter plug so you can plug it into your vehicle or any battery like a JumpStart or a goal zero. The only problem with this shower tent is that if it's windy outside you better have it staked down good. I tied it to the back of my pickup truck and it held up in some strong wind. I would suggest getting some black 5 gallon buckets and fill them with water and leave it out in the sun to warm up.

We set the black solar bag in the sun for several hours but most of the time we forget so we heat our water up in our electric skillet that we are able to use off of our solar panel setup. We tried to find some way to heat the water at the same time as showering but nothing seemed cheap and safe.

We have since installed solar panels, inverter, and batteries in the truck bed. Most of the time we use an electric skillet to heat the water. Other times we use the solar bag. We think the skillet is the best water heater because it serves two purposes, thus takes up less room. It cooks food AND heats shower water.

Yes. We heat the water in a solar bag on days when its sunny and we remember. Other days we use our electric skillet (powered by solar panels and battery) to heat the water, the transfer it to the shower bucket.

See this is why I hesitate to even THINK about camping with my 8 pound Brussels Griffon and 15 pound Havanese. They are NO MATCH for these loose BIG DOGS especially since I never would allow mine off leash. You folks are pretty inconsiderate of those with small fur babies.
