Thanks for the beautiful memories. Miss those days in the 80's. Love the sound of your car. The old Kingswood. I now have migrated back to Buka, Bougainville Island. Although the clarity of the video is not that perfect, it sure did give us an insight of what Port Moresby was like in the early days. Enjoyed the video. Much appreciated.

This is House CAA 65 at Skidrow street, 7 mile, Jacksons Airport. We moved into this house in 1992 till 2015. Brings back fond memories of Skidrow. Thanks for sharing.

@@PaulAshford I worked it out that this was definitely the house i grew up when i saw the old bloke talking and at the background was the Air Niugini Catering Services Building which was situated right infront of the house. 😊

This video brings back memories, I grew up in that at particular house at 7mile ( skidrow street). We Moved in 1992 and left at 2015.....I forgot the old man's name, he died a year when we Moved in......great video 👍👍👍

The lapun was Olik Lunik, he worked for many years as the teaboy at the airport control tower.

Interesting watching your video. My Dad moved the family to PNG in late 1984 and we left in 1986. We lived up Laws Road, went to school to Ela Beach. Saw some of our favourite stores in your camera.

There was no 'past the aero club' in my day. This is 'skid row' which overlooks the airport - left past the DC3 on a pole then left again after about 400m

My Pidgeon is old school, borne of a much earlier time......I still remember where and when the first set of stop lights were installed in Moresby......time before...
