It’s not a problem with Port, it’s a problem with the fans and outsiders looking in. Sure they make finals and they put up a good fight against some of the better teams in recent history but you’re right, their list is not good and has never been good, last year they didn’t even have a dedicated ruckman for majority of the season and a depleted backline, yet were able to beat some of the biggest teams and make it into finals.

That is why Port fans are absolutely fuming and very right so. It also doesn't help at all that Hinkley has been at that club almost as long an actual Premiership winning Coach before him.

That is why we need to see if Carr and the rest of the coaches can change things now or 2025 will be another wasted season like 2024 is currently headed,give Carr and the rest of the coaches the rest of the season to show they are the right leadership and if they ain't along with a lot of hot and cold gameday non effort player's they all need to be let go

So basically they all agree that the coach will have to go based on their performance. Heaven forbid a fan has an opinion on the situation, which is the same as theirs. WOW, the elitism is astounding.

This is like Bizarroworld that such a sub-par coach without a grand final appearance in 12 years is defended so much in the media, whereas they target actual premiership coaches and demand they be fired.

Port members only get to elect 2 board members. The remaining 8 board members are elected by Kochie and signed off by the AFL. Warren was elected by the members with highest voting turn out in club history. Kochie would not dare to sack Tredrea as the member backlash will be fierce.

Port for the past many years have been downhill skiers with an ordinary defensive game.

The calls were live..every caller can express their own opinion. It's not the hosts prerogative to reject any of the opinions. Such a non story!

You are talking as though they didn't just get spanked at home against a side they should have at least broken even with. After weeks of under performing, after 12 years. Ken is a good bloke but good blokes are everywhere.

Calling horne francis a B grade player is kinda crazy, at his best he is A grader.

Port sold the farm during trade week in 2023 thinking it would hold their Top 4 Ranking into 2024, and has been found out in recent weeks to be off their pace. Port fans knew that the streak they had last year was lucky and will be screaming “I told you so” given their form and run home at the end of season 2024. BZT was seriously a repeat winner of the reverse Coleman in years past at Essendon; we only wanted to keep him due to the unavailability of Ridley and pressure on Laverde as defenders - our defence has shaped up better relying on McKay, Ridley, Laverde. Esava was never getting a game at Geelong, and it was evident that he was not going to give much more of an impact once he got over to Port. In my opinion, it is a slippery slope over at Alberton coming soon.

So Kane wants them to give the reason of the season to ken. Yet bevo who’s been to 2 Grand finals and won 1 he wanted him gone by like round 3.

Kane Cornes will question the tenure of any coach that's not winning games and won a premiership in the last 4 years (regardless of premiership window). Unless it's Port... He shouldn't be a media personality because his bias is so bloody obvious

Brisbane is desperate to get into the finals, if they were playing Sydney, Brisbane would have won that game. Port were the unlucky side on that day. Port will bounce back.

I think Port should extend Hinkley for another two years, give the players, club and supporters confidence it’s currently lacking.

Tredrea was voted onto the board as he was seen as a voice for the fans that had had enough of the Ken love in. Ken has wasted 2-3yrs of talent at Port Adelaide and needs to go now. Give Josh Carr his chance and reassess at the end of the season.

It was an open segment..they welcomed ANY opinion...Rowe and Tredrea allowed callers to speak freely without interjection..many callers were responded with 'good call', 'fair point or 'good point'. The switchboard had literally hundreds of callers who missed out. Just another media beatup.

Carr is far too risky now. Could very easily end up a lot like Rutten did at the Bombers because how much influence he has in the gameplan right now.

Games are lost and won by the players simple if they don't preform simple drop them

Trying to improve something as complex as a club in its current state has the real high probability of becoming something worse than better. Right now, who really is better than Hinkley, who wants to be at Port Adelaide, who has an appropriate game plan and personality that is the difference to better the current situation? I doubt Port has the ability to draw better. I understand Hinkley has been at the helm for a long time, but people are not seeing reality, and the infighting by fans is a likely deterrent for any potential newcomers. Stop being emotional, think of real solutions first.

Sorry but all this sits on the players shoulders, they have screwed Hinkley over. You can’t say the list isn’t good or it’s over rated, it has some of the best players in the league and at time when they have been switched on we’ve seen what they can do but the last few games the players didn’t come out and play for their coach. Just about all of them are playing like they are depressed and have given up, if they loved their coach they would be killing themselves out on the ground so they can save him. Ken’s time is up, he looked like he was lost on the weekend and the players aren’t lifting for him so the best thing that can happen is for Ken to think about the club and walk away, Carr needs to take over until the end of the week so the club can see what he would do differently and if the players change their attitudes towards him and if they do t respond then he isn’t the man for next year

the club is 8-6 and still in the top 8, the season is only half done. yes they had a horrible performance on the weekend, but the lions are a raging side. what was the expectation? that this club makes top 2? back the club and coach in, they are still a top 8 side and can make finals if not for all these stupid distractions. you would think they are 2-8 or something with the way people are talking like its a crisis, sheesh - not even a port fan lol

It would be better for them to bottom out for a couple of years and be where hawthorn are now in a couple of years. At least they would know where they are then. They promise so much to their fans and then pull the rug out from them time and time again. They’re a mid card team that masquerades as a top 4 contender every few seasons when they get an easy draw.

Need this win ken but make it a win because is not nice too much need this win captain or player don't fall be strong enough to get the point 4 place

Hinkley has been there 11 years and not made a GF, they have a bad finals record under Hinkley, a bad record against top 8 teams and a horrible record agaisnt top 4 teams. Hinkley said start of the year it's the best list his had and they were aiming for top, this is after 3 years of Hinkley and thr club talking themselves up as a major premiership threat every pre season.
