Port Day in BARCELONA • Mediterranean Cruise ⚓• Marella Explorer 2
Welcome to day six of our mediterranean cruise series on board Marella Explorer 2. Unfortunately, we have a last minute change of plans due to the rough seas causing our arrival at Barcelona to be later than planned. We therefore have a rather last minute plan to wander around Barcelona, see the Sagrada Familia, Barcelona Cathedral, Arc de Triomf and the Columbus monument. We also stumble upon a vegan fair and sample some of the food there.
Back on board we have a beautiful dinner at Nonna's, enjoy the entertainment show and finally experience the silent disco!

How annoying that the cruise bus dropped you off so far away! What a shame that nothing went to plan. It sounds like they need to up their food game for sure. Silent discos really make me laugh! They are so funny. Xx

Thankfully we weren't too far away from everything else just the Sagrada Familia. Yes we loved the silent disco so glad we got to experience it!
such a shame the weather wasn't too good ... as that is the only problem cruises .. but the silent disco is hilarious

Did you see Casa Batllo as it's up from the las ramblas road? Its a great Gaudi house to look at. We also didn't make it into the park the last time we went to Barcelona either, it does look lovely from pictures we've seen. Terrible you had rough seas, did you take sea sickness tablets with you and if so did they not work well - we noticed on cruise next week there are going to be thunderstorms so might have rough seas, getting a little worried now!

We didn't realise Casa Batllo was so close- another thing we missed! Yeah the park looks magical, we'll have to go back and see it one day. We did take seasickness tablets, but unfortunately Zack is allergic to one of the ingredients in them, and they weren't massively effective anyway. Oh no, fingers crossed it's not too rough!
Thanks for bringing back up in my memories haven’t been for 9 years, hope you guys have fun cable car looks fun, does it go up to the fair at the top of the hill.
