Port Chatham/Portlock, Alaska- First Look June 2018 (Raw and unfiltered)- Part 1- The Recon.

We hope you enjoy Part 1 of our First Look into Port Chatham/Portlock Alaska back in June of 2018. It was the first Expedition in the history of Bigfoot Research and Investigation to venture out to the place in search of the legendary Hairy Man aka "Nantiinaq" - the alleged killer bigfoot of Alaska.
This video contains never before seen material (Raw & Unedited) and chronicles our intial recon of Portlock/Port Chatham prior to returning in September of 2018 to shoot the documentary film- "In Search of the Port Chatham Hairy Man". You can what that amazing adventure right here at the following link: • In Search of the Port ...
Please join Stephen T. Major, World Explorer- Adam Davies and Josiah Martin as we explore Port Chatham/Portlock, Alaska for the very first time.
Many thanks to the English Bay Corporation for making this historic expedition possible.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip, that started from this cold Alaska port, aboard this tiny skip. The mate was a mighty expedition man, the skipper brave and sure. A few adventurers set sail that day for for a three tour; just a recon tour The Portlock terrain started getting rough, the bears were fierce and tough If not for the courage of the fearless crew the expedition would be lost, the Bigfoot expedition would be lost ..........As sung to the Gillian's Island theme song........

Main thing I want to say is, the guy holding the pistol doesn't know gun safety. Walking around with your finger on the trigger is a bad habit and very unsafe. You missed the high water marks on the sand when you were setting up. I was thinking your ice chest might float out with the tide.

Wow someone needs to go to video Editor school - silent film, then noise; all sorts of camera angles; lack of focus; stage whispers; voices cut off; guys each repeating the same thing over and over; one guy says hes going up a hill for a photo then nothing; weird slow motion silent shot of a guy walking for about a minute....I love this stuff and your intent and dedication - but this would be the worst shot and put together YT video I've seen for a long while...

Its not trolling - its an observation and feedback about something which is almost unwatchable - why would you release something so poor? Raw and unfiltered doesn't excuse poor video and sound badly patched together. Do you really think its fun to watch someone talking and then their voice and statement be cut off; 5 minutes of silence then talking again; stage managed replies which are often repeated over and over? Its not a movie you said but how many times did we hear Action!@@ExtremeExpeditionsNorthwestLLC

That videographer needs an eye exam ! 3rdly. you bring in Adam Davies, who has THE WORST track record of finding anything, except seedy bars, whores and alcohol ! 4th point...perhaps you may want to consider jotting down questions and answers, and rehearsing your lines...too many umm's, cuts, etc.

Im not alk the way to the end of the video yet, i don't know why you didn't find a place and camp in woods as far as you could. i don't who payed for this but i would want a refund. Nobody seems to know shit about what they are doing. Who ever worked the camera needed to take a few lessons.not knowing how the tides ran and where they reached was just crazy.if the guy tracking was the best you could get you should have stayed home. And for protection, you were damm lucky as bear didn't show up. Shotguns , 12 or 10 gauge were what was needed. And like the first night , no one sleeping was a mistake, sleep in shifts but sleep. You won't be worth a damn after no sleep. Well you wont be able to do the best you could with no sleep.camp in the woods , far as you could get . Let SABA come to you. What i wouldn't have given to be there 30 or 40 years ago with some of these old Mt. Men i call friends. We woukd have been around 35 years old. We know what ro do in the wild because thats where we spent most of our time. Its just good this group didn't come near any real trouble , the leader carring his pistol in his hand , well it make no sense. I guess i was hard in this group but i called it as i saw it sometime being 70 is a real pain .

"Raw " video doesn't have to be _silent_ ! No sound in a video is inexcusable. What happened to your audio feed and why didn't you overlay music to fill the missing audio? The beautiful; Alaskan scenery and wildlife made the video worth watch. +1 As for "Hairy Man", or Natinaq stories, well, whatever. In a land of dangerous landscape, man eating bears and wolves and with weather that can quickly turn deadly you don't need silly stories to explain missing, or mutilated persons. Then consider the kind of people that often populate remote areas which are free of significant law enforcement. Drugs, alcohol and psychosis are more likely suspects than "Hairy Man" cryptids. Seriously, I'm more interested to know if you had any problems with ticks and mosquitoes, or did you find any vintage bottles and glassware? Old worksites and towns are often a cornucopia for period life debris. Who the hell brings a single-action pistol to bear country as the _primary_ arm and _doesn't_ have a holster? A slung 12gauge with buck and slug would've served you better as bear defense. I was 🤣that you didn't know to account for the tides. Hope you didn't miss that wonderful opportunity to get some fishing in during your "expedition".
