Whats sad is that all these custom and exclusive collection, has just been standing in a warehouse, never used and hidden from public view, hopefully the buyers will enjoy these cars by actually driving them

This is hands down, the most inspiring collection I’ve ever seen. As a huge Porsche fan, this truly took my breathe away. I was damn near crying at certain points. The level of commitment, passion and love this took is unbelievable. I didn’t know something like this could be achieved within the vehicle collection world. This is proof that nothing can stop a man who’s driven by a vision. I’ll be watching this many times again.

After watching this video I can't help but have double feelings about it. On the one hand what an amazing collection. Unique in it's kind and extent. Unbelievable what it all consists of. As Porsche fan I really loved seeing all the different models together of all the different years. But on the other hand it feels like such a pity that most off them have delivery mileage and have not been enjoyed in the way they have been build for. Yes they have been enjoyed in other ways (just taking them in, looking at them, collect them, letting us see and watch it). The question that rises with me, does the owner have various other Porsches that are not in the collection per se and are beeing enjoyed? This isn't critique at the owner of the collection at all!! It's wonderful that someone put's in the effort, time and resources to build up such a collection. It can be saved for the future and be part of history.

My thoughts exactly. Someone who loves porsches knows how good drivers' cars they are. If you store them as display items they lose their purpose

Just a wild guess but I'd say someone with that kind of money will surly have doubles and have some cars that he uses at home that are not part of the "collection".

Porsche Club of America members have know about this collection for a few years now, but thanks to KZreadrs like you Tim, we've now had an in depth look into the details. Much appreciated! 👍😎👍

As a lifelong Porschephile, this is stuff that unattainable dreams are made of. Thank you for sharing this mind blowing collection, I'm still in awe.

Schmee, Great work on documenting this collection! This is truly one of your best. I'm amazed at the level of detail you're able to go into on each vehicle. You have a phenomenal memory! The PCA did a video on the collection about 5 yrs ago and a 959 and Carrera GT were in the collection... I'm supposing that these have already been sold or are being held back. The 959 was like 1 of 337... a masterpiece. Cheers

Very much like these museum videos! One thing that would really up the overall experience is having a rolling camera that isn't so jarring with every step. Maybe someone makes a rolling tripod? I like to watch in high resolution on my home TV. I realize for the individual interior shots there would have to be a quick disconnect ability but if your just walking around on flat floors there's no reason why the picture quality and stability can't be improved. Keep up the good videos guys. :)

I can't wrap wy head around how well Tim is with speaking in front of the camera. The knowledge it takes to speak intelligently and accurately about so much information. To be so quick in putting together, a speech basically, while speaking to the camera shows why he's so successful on KZread. As well as working nonstop. What an amazing channel when you really think about what goes into it.

WOW!!!!! Back in 1986 I was like 11 and I was driven as a passenger around Silverstone circuit in a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight with the red decals owned by a friend of me step brother the car was loud fast and amazing I will never forget that day. Wow the value of that thing now blows my mind.

I am mind boggled by the GT2 RS and the 918 being so highly specked but I don’t understand what was done that optional extras cost more than the base price of the car

This is absolutely incredible. Wow!

I think its not even just the cars and the specs and their conditions, but the fact that everything in that place is not anything historically grown or added uppon, but rather everything is designed in unison. Every single floor cover for every car is the same. All of them have their own little sign. Every single cabinet is the same and there are tons of them, not to mention all the storage boxes that all seem to be from the same manufacturer and model. THIS is attention to detail. To have everything spotless and everything unified and no compromises. Its insane to believe that someone that created all this would be willing to let this collection go and to split it all up. Its sad that there is no way that someone would be able to buy out every single one of them and keep them together. Saw this beeing advertised some time ago, but its great that you managed to actually take a look at it yourself and managed to let us all have a closer look at that masterpiece of a collection. From the top of my head I cant think of anything like it that comes close to this dedication. However I do wonder if the owner has other collections like this of other brands or what his plans are after the auction.

As beautiful as all these cars are, it make me appreciate your skittles collection even more.

I used to work for the owner of this collection and what an achievement. If you knew him, you can see how all of this was achieved through hard work and dedication and just the meticulous attention to detail is amazing. Now for some of you throwing shade, lets be respectful and just admire what this man built over the last 20 or so years and hopefully these cars are enjoyed just the way I'm sure he did. Congrats.

Great video Tim, but am I the only one who cried a little that so many were delivery mile cars. I hope he bought two of everything, one to thrash and one to preserve. I really don't like hearing about all these amazing cars that don't get used. I love the fit that Tim drives his cars!

Amazing, almost as good as visiting the Porsche museum in Stuttgart. The only thing I would have loved to hear/see is an interview with the owner about the motivation and inspiration for assembling such a collection and hear which is their daily and favourites. Just wow Tim. Great experience.

There are two ways to enjoy the hobby imho. You can drive them or you can store them. I support both.

Beautiful collection and as much as it’s not a big ticket car, my father had a 924 martini just like that one behind the 991.2 speedsters.

One correction: The RSR does not use hydraulic fluid to operate its 3 built-in jacks. They are actually pneumatic (air) operated. When the car pulls into the pits, a mechanic (pit crew member) rushes out and connects an air line to the male fitting and the three jacks (one under the front ‘boot’ , and one behind each front seat) immediately descend downward, jacking the car about 6-8” off the ground to facilitate tire changes. As soon as the crew and driver are ready, the air line is disconnected and springs immediately pull the jacks up into their stowed position. I drove a few shifts in a RSR many years ago, in an endurance race. The “landing, after the pressure is released is quite violent! Wouldn’t have traded the experience for anything else in the world!!!
