Rear wheel drive + naturally aspirated + flat six = inspirational engineering! - this car sounds mental! I can only imagine how it drives 😍❤️

Great review as usual,I got a lil emotional at the end. You guys must consider doing some of the reviews in the inland of the country sometimes. These kinds of cars on the R37 between Sabie and Lydenburg or the R71 between Tzaneen and Polokwane,....man!!

Fantastic review!! I used to own an older model GT3 and for me the most fun (besides the car of course) was letting people who'd never driven one have a go and then watching their faces! It is so visceral and unlike other cars which have certain stand out features, with a GT3 its the sum of all of those individual components that delivers time and time and time again. Keep up the great work!

I went in a 997 GT3 RS and I was so disappointed. I was expecting to be thrown hard back into the seat and it was so smooth and refined. Maybe I overhyped it in my head? Also we were in joburg so It really didn't feel that fast?

I've watched lots of 911 aficionados review this car and be blown away by it, so watching Ciro review it and get emotional was like seeing it for the first time myself. Best SA reviewer by far, always a fresh perspective and a chuckle.

I’m actually genuinely impressed with this video. Not something I think I’ve ever said about a local production. Ciro really “gets it”...a Porsche GT car is so special in the way that it encourages you to learn from it. They’re even under-priced given their performance. Welcome to the church my friend.

Drove and owned many special cars. You echoed my same sentiments. The gt3 rs at slow speeds is pretty archaic ... Like you say. She doesn't like it 🤣. But at speed it just becomes so bloody sublime ... There are many cars that are faster but none as memorable as a GT3RS ... Great review in capturing the essence of what a GT3 RS is about 🙏

I can understand your feeling and totally agree with your comment as I own the same car with opted the same GT Silver colour , full Weissach package, and silver seat belt as well as contrast stitching instead of yellow. After every my weekend driving, I'm always speechless and exciting with a big big smile on face. This car reminds me the hardworking is worth and how life is wonderful. I definitely will tell my grandkids about how special of this GT3RS is like you. Great review, engine sound can be louder please.

I’ve been fortunate enough to get behind the wheel of the brand new Cayman GT4 as well as a 991.1 GT3 and I had similar reactions to BOTH cars! I can only imagine what the RS model must do to you because I had big stupid smiles in both of these the whole time! 😄

I'm torn between the two. I'm looking at the gt4 because of the manual. I've been driving pdks for a while now after 2 decades of manuals. it was cool at first, but not sure anymore. somedays i want to drive a pdk, somedays i want to drive manual. to bad they can't make a car with both work a toggle switch and i just screw in the clutch pedal.

9:54 is exactly the reaction this car deserves. There may be cars with higher top speeds but nothing comes to close to a 911, no matter how much power a certain 4.0 litre biturbo v8 has, it'll never match up!

You say I have been tasks like you don't want to do this 😂 listen to that engine. South Africa should bump the speed limit to 180km/h. Whenever they give out this 0 - 100km/h you should prove it.

Sticker instead of a proper badge, a lightweight door pull, magnesium wheels to save 11kg... Yet it's still not much lighter than an Hurcan EVO with a NA 5.2L V10 plus AWD system and daily amenities. Not to mention the Advantador SVJ (or the original one) with a huge 6.5L NA V12 again with AWD system... people might argue but the RS badge Porsche is heavy! Being a rwd much smaller engine (in comparison) and especially with all the weight saving measures... @1400+ kg don't think Porsche is even trying to be honest. Cos they know this is just fast enough for anyone to have a say. Call it lightweight is just a marketing thing to charge for more i would say. Don't get wrong I do admire this car. Don't hate me for speaking my mind 😊

Hey bless you Ciro! Thanks alot for this movie a video of a car we have all note yet driven alright. A Porsche is a car like other cars it has the basics right of 4 wheels staring wheel and seat to sit in remember we have note yet reached the days of standing and driving. I can often be one with a car if itis the right car bud if itis the wrong car then I will note do it. I really wish you were able to let those of us who can drive to be given the opportunity to sit even as a passenger in the car let me drive it also please. Iam preciously disadvantaged because of my short height so if iwas taller I could win the tenders for Covid and buy this car bud alas I cannote. Its fast considering its NA. 9000 rpm. Mind boggling 👌. But i prefer the bonkers GT2 RS

But more importantly, should have shown how to put the extra groceries thru the roll cage after going out two towns to get them.

99% of the comments are very positive, so if you like it, ignore this one. I don't find these 911 cars appealing at all. It doesn't turn my head the way a Lamborghini, Ferrari, McClaren or old classics do. I like the "German theater" comparison... It's just not for me then, it's for hardcore drivers who care about every millisecond and getting that corner perfect next time.

Well Pieter as you have mentioned in the last sentence. Porsche is not for everyone and that’s why it stands out in its own niche... where cars like these are mainly oriented for pure petrol heads and enthusiasts. It’s more driver oriented that puts a big smile as you go hard on the throttle and shift through those gears in this case shift those paddles. As you drive along on a twisty and windy sections and as well as track with it which gives you extreme joy and pleasure. And this is what makes it special and memorable. Whereas cars like Lambo, McLaren, Ferrari etc are also meant for driving enthusiasts but they don’t come close to bringing that joy of driving around twisty sections. Don’t get me wrong they are fun but not close to what Porsche does offer. The biggest advantage of these cars is they attract large crowds & paparazzi’s to that of Porsche. In such cars you feel like you are a celebrity on the other hand Porsche just makes you special.
