This car looks SO composed. The corner speeds are insane. Brünnchen really blew my mind!

I really like these Manthey track days videos.

The silver BBS wheels compliment the blue very nicely, the contrast is very welcome! I'm glad silver was picked.

smoothest lap I've seen here fun to watch.

This is probably the all you need track toy. Such a good package. This is how I'd spec the car too, with the full MR kit. The wheels are just gorgeous. Have to say I am vibing with silver wheels lately.

Anyone see the holes in the spokes of those bbs wheels to save weight.🤯 That was another great drive around my favorite track i never been to.🤭👍

That's the only problem i see for the GT4 Mr, the gt4rs pricetag.

Those apex speeds, they look so effortlessly but casually hitting 180 at flugplatz says a lot about the car. Wow, am I falling in love?

I dont know if this makes sense but it looks so much more nimble compared to say a GT3 RS MR. What a car, what a lap!

What a beautiful lap, tires growling, pushing the car near the max, but still safe and clearly fun.

I think a new 718 RS MR could be quite the weapon, and close to my ideal car.! 🤔 Although in terms of looks and supercharger whine the new Lotus Emira has me drooling a little too! 😋

We have many Porsche cayman gt4 here in Canada but I've never seen a GT4 MR😵😵😵😵I really want to drive a GT4 at nürburgring so much

🤣Just noticed on the subtitles when you said welcome back to Nurburgring it’s say Liverpool on the subtitles 🤣 great video as always though that just made me laugh when I saw it on the preview screen

Amazing Car and package! One question though: How much (if any) does it impede the daily usability (as a daily driver)?

Should have strapped an akrapovic exhaust on there to really make it perfect and increase power but surely Porsche didn’t want it to be more powerful than the standard.

There's only one thing wrong with this car, no TT bro, this is my favourite car of all time, awesome.

That was the best image quality video I've ever seen on the Nordschleife. In fact, the Grüne Hölle has never looked so green. The image was steady, the resolution was great. What camera/system was being used?

@@mgcharoudin That makes a big difference, I could read stuff you normally only see by being there. Did you record 4K or 5K? The 43" Sony 4K HDR monitor showed it really well. Colours were great, one could see detail in the shade. An order of magnitude better than the Race Navigator footage.

Shorter gears make it louder in drive-by noise tests and increase fuel consumption. New cars nowadays have to pass regulations that prefer automatic transmissions (with PDK being an automatic).

Awesome video Misha! Did Michael mention anything off camera about additional camber adjustments beyond stock? Would love to know how much negative he had? The car looked so smooth and noticed exit speeds out of the carousels of 80 and 96 kph. Did it feel like there were a few more kph's to be had?

Yes the camber is fully adjustable, I have -3,6° front and -3,0 rear

nice short shifting :)

Give us more details like lap time, corner speeds compared to 3RS, how is the Cayman compared to 911, etc

Great video again to learn about the track, lines, and gearshifts around the ring. Between the GT2, GT3, and GT4, which do you prefer, rear engine or mid engine and why? From watching IMSA GTLM here in the US, the Porsche race car is more like the GT4, but Hoonigan stated the GT4 would always be slightly derrated so it wouldn't outshine the classic Porsche vehicle, GT2 and GT3. What's your opinion?

Why they put in 718 GT4 CS the 3.8l engine ???

Very controlled - but 7:33 BTG ist not actually very fast, is it? For a track focused car with a >130k price tag

the car that porsche knows could be better than the 911, which is why they kept it underpowered for so long. But these days the 911 is so big in size that the cayman is the more sportier car between the two, and I would even go as far as saying it might even be a better car to base the GT3 cars on. Although Porsche would never do this obviously.

So…. GT4 official Nordschleife record tine is 7:28. He just casually did this lap in 7:33 with a 200lbs passenger in a little traffic. Wow!!

En weer een euro in de spaarpot gedaan, helaas is de bodem nog niet eens bedekt, dus de Porsche GT4 moet nog even wachten.

Michelin pilot sport cup 2. 245/55ZR20 in the front

Not that much into the look myself. I would go full weight reduction with fiber glass panels, light wheels, gutted interior, lighter exhaust, AC and sound system removed. Loosing maybe 200kg you no longer need pad replacement.
