Chris, do you have a vid for replacing the drive on this unit? That’s my next step. Going with a SSD versus a disc drive to hopefully get mine going again… Thanks for your time sir.

I know when the radio gets repaired sometimes it requires a trip to the dealership to be reprogrammed. Since I send out radios for repairs that's outside my realm of things.

wait, so what exactly is the last yellow one that you just say I DONT KNOW and then proceed with removing it????

Yes that's correct. Happens all the time. I don't need to know what every single wire does when removing and reinstalling a radio. All I have to worry about is that everything works perfect after I finish.

Hello Christian, my 2015 Porsche Boxster is doing the boot up cycling thing with the CPM about every 5 minutes or so and I want to fix that problem. I don’t want to just set it back to original so I want to upgrade it. I’ve done the turnover and manufacturer settings reset and no change. I’ve found some modules online that say they will upgrade to apple and android for the PCM. Do those modules work? Do the new modules replace the original modules? My car also suddenly will not turn the air fan off when I turn the climate control off or even when I turn the car off, so I’ve had to remove the fuse for the fan. I assume that’s happening because the PCM is not working correctly. Can you help me please? Thank you

If your PCM is rebooting then it must be replaced. You cannot add carplay to a bad radio. We have all the parts to add an aftermarket radio. The climate thing is probably unrelated.
