Sweet sounds of the flat-6! I have a 981 PDK as well. No PSE but I have the FVD Brombaucher exhaust. Do you get any drone with PSE on when the PDK is in 6-7 gear when you lug the engine?

No drone whatever the gears.

Epic - is that an S model or base? The one I drove definitely didn't have the PSE then.

No, PSE was installed at the beginning.

2.7L engine.

No way that’s a stock base with just sport exhaust. I own an S and have driven with PSE. Sounded nothing like this at all.

This sounds like an exhaust mounted microphone. So it’s exaggerated
