I’ve owned two 911 cabriolets and Maserati GT. Love them all but definitely will purchase another Maserati GT soon!

I have had the 911 and the Maserati...so I'll just say this, I still drive the Masi 4.7 GT! *when you know, you know*

I - drove 4 different 911s but bought the GT and never looked back. That 4.7l GT wails like a demon, especially in the sport mode. There is nothing like it.

like i respect your opinions like yk but i have a 911 gt3 too (got it for my 15th) and my dad had a gt like 6 years ago and kept it in his garage for veryyyy long and then finally sold it in 2018 (the car used to break down a lotttttt despite regular inspections , care and oil change); i wanted the gt too and i was to get it but he sold it and gave me his porsche instead

Why didn't you pick a 4.7 and a newer granturismo for comparison?

What is amazing is this video is new but the Maserati Granturismo is a 2008. The Maserati Granturismo has timeless design. The exterior doesn't look aged. The interior also looks timeless with the exception to the infotainment looks very dated. In the end the Maserati Granturismo looks magnificent and sexy, a great Italian design.

It sure looks very dated.. the infotainment screen looks just like a tv screen wired to a atari console.... & that steering wheel is so ugly...no way I would be paying more than 90k for this retro junk... lol

I'm having thoughts about the Granturismo. Simply because my son is outgrowing the back seat in my Carrera S. The Granturismo is a proper 4-seater.

Alex, I sold my 997.2 GTS to buy the Maserati GT due to the back seat. My 10 & 11 year old sons fit fine in the back seat. And the GT is just as much fun to drive.

That trident badge! It’s timeless! From Ancient Greek to Aquaman. Definitely looks better than the Porsche badge. The trident should be crome on a black car though. 👍 No speeding in sg, so I’ll take the trident 🔱 car anytime. 😆

Where to get ?

You have to use different lens. The cars inside the showroom look so distorted. Otherwise I really like how you speak in great detail. Really good video.

It's a shame that you didn't review 2014 + Maserati Granturismo Sport or MC with the 4.7 liter 454 hp V8... especially since this 911 is a 2016 + 991.2. Otherwise, good review 👍

Ive owned a GTS for only 7 months before someone crashed into me and the car got totaled. Now i got a Porsche 997 C4S, much more of a low compact vehicle, but my heart always aches when i hear the GTS from afar

Correction Granturismo does fit one big check in 20+ kg suit case luggage. I own one and it does. Plus some small bags

The 4.2 is a twin-turbo V6, the 4.7 sport model to get the naturally-aspirated V8

interesting to see people prefer Maserati in Singapore, here in china resell value of mesarati is less than half of a brand new car. and recently they are start closing dealerships due to poor salaes.

Why not review the 992?

I never liked 911's hated my beetle when I was young lol. But I have had many sports cars and in the end decided to test drive a 911.Every test drive said it was the best drivers car . So I bought an old cheap one but still very fast and you know I hardly ever drive it but when I do it always makes me smile . I am an old guy now and thought of changing to a Maserati . But the Porsche still gives me a thrill flat out with the roar from the exhaust .Also the car has never had any problems either very reliable Of course these days electric cars are faster . But its not the same as a real engine.

Hopefully the indigo didnt rub off on that red interior

Porsche is indeed a car with history. Even it’s shape. Dont like it. The trident emblem anytime. V8 sounds...

I don't care what any 911 Porsche-Snob says, the Cayman will always be the best Porsche design, by virtue of the mid-engine design. Case closed. They used to call the 911 the "Widow Maker' in the 1970s because of the snap-oversteer lol

Porsches don't sound that good but it makes up for it with its speed

Many trident Fans here, Until the check engine light comes on. Besides alcantara steering wheel breeding confidence. Think I’ve more confidence tt the Porsche wouldn’t stall on the highway too. But neither car for me. V8 would go to an Aston Vantage 🤟

It also looks much better to me honestly, even better with the mc front bumper or the Granturismo S bumper. Porsche's just seem a bit mainstream and common nowadays. A Maserati, rarely seen, always heard.

Maserati GT is more than a decade old. All of them are COE renewed car and now mostly driven by Bengs, Property agents, Ah Long etc. Porsche 911 anytime. There is no comparison.

The infotainment actually still has a numpad for making phone calls. That is technology from 10 years ago!

Anyone who knows cars would never compare a Maserati versus 911. Class apart. A wanna be versus a proven class....
