Very cool model from Hot Wheels! I've got it for my collection as well because I really like this car. In my opinion it's one of the best looking Porsches. I've seen the real one in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. The cap on the hood is really a fuel cap. As same as the VW Beetle it has the fuel tank under the hood. And the 904 was used for racing so of course they did choose a more practical solution. So at the Beetle you'd need to open the frunk hood and then removing the fuel cap and then filling in ... then closing everything again. So they just save two unnecessary steps for racing. Brilliant!

Casting looks good but I will probably never forgive Hot Wheels for not painting that rear end in 1:43.

Hey, I recommend using acrylic paints to manually add extra detail cuz that is what i do!
