One of the most beautiful songs ever written, and of Steven's as well.

As an HA survivor this song really hits home in a big way. You tell yourself it’s not a problem for a significant time, you just need to chill, you just need to rest a bit and the pain will go away - until the pain is such that it is undeniable. I was very lucky, my family who made the call, the Paramedics, the hospital staff all assisted in me still being here but all i could think of in my lucid moments in the ambulance was my family and whether I would see them again. Thankfully Steven leaves the ending open although it seems unlikely that the person survives.

My dad (who died in 2013) had a heart attack in the waiting room of the GP he was going to see for the pains he experienced that morning in 2006. The fact that he was literally next to a doctor when it happened saved his life. He got double bypass surgery. Unfortunately he couldn't keep a healthy lifestyle after that... 😓

One of the saddest songs ever written. Don't ever leave home angry. You may not be able to make things right. Take the time.

A fairly recent discovery for me, this band. I haven’t done a deep dive but everything I’ve heard has been amazing.

I like to tell people who are just recently discovering PT that they are almost always better LIVE! I’ve heard all their studio LPs first, but when I’ve heard those songs live it’s been a big difference…..

Thankyou guys for your heartfelt reaction once again. I cannot listen to this track without tears. If this song doesnt move the listener to pause and consider their priorities - then they are just not listening attentively enough. Truly heart-rending stuff from the master of darkness himself

He and his wife had a fight. He was o. His way home and had a heart attack. As he was dying he was imagining getting home and his wife telling him how sorry she was and missed him, but it wasn't real, he was dying....but other than that, yeah, it was a pretty happy song

He said that on the Warzsawa live recording just before they played Stop Swimming if I remember correctly. If it's sad and dark you want guys, that's a good one. The studio version is on the album Stupid Dream from 1999!
