This part of the trip takes us to Richmond, Hughenden and Muttaburra. Millions of years ago the area was covered by an inland sea which dried up because of climate and continental changes and left sediment in which much of the ancient sea creatures and dinosaurus fossils were found. We visit some of the display centres in these towns. The beautiful Porcupine Gorge can be found north of Hughenden.
