Haven't heard of these guys. Im really liking this

I don’t listen to many bands, mostly uk grime, trap & drill etc (I.e. worlds apart from this style of music) ..came across Porches by accident & instantly fell in love with their music & music videos. These songs talk to my soul & the lead singer is my new hero

Listen to some early Red House Painters or Idaho to get some of these melodies.

First heard them on the radio and when I found them online I was surprised that they weren't called "PRCHS" : p

great performance by Porches! I recommend checking out True Blue - its the bassist's band that has an EP coming out Feb. 21. I saw True Blue open up for Homeshake on valentines day

This is a masterpiece. They really should release the set as a vinly 10 inch ep or something, as it outshines the album versions of the same songs... by far. (And the album is great). Oh, what a machine... Also, is he an Idaho fan? I think maybe?

Alan Peters she is! Her amp choices are great. I believe she uses ampegs, which produce a really beautiful tone that isn't too deep and enough to not overpower the drummer (who's also a powerhouse) and rest of the band. It's perfect for my taste.

Heard about these guys back when Fantano reviewed "Pool", but nothing he said in his review told me they were a band. It took me as a surprise to see this video lol, but I've been listening to that album ever since Fantano's review and been a fan. Really great!

That's how he acts. I'm not sure if it's the drugs or what (He gets high with Frankie Cosmos a lot). I went to his show on September 30th and my friends and I bumped into him in the streets. He was just a strange, nervous and awkward person to talk to. It seemed like he was physically there, but no one was home. He makes good music, but it just seems like his mind is elsewhere.
