How long did you let them dry before removing?

Bisque fire then a stoneware fire to cone 6

Yes but they glow beautifully with a light in.
What is that material called that you’re putting in slip?

very thin cleaning cloths they burn away in the firing.

@@jhenniceamorrow5936look up J cloths. They're thin cotton reusable cleaning cloths. Very common in UK kitchens
