With all these South American nations unified, even if they all joined Brazil forming Greater United States of Brazil. Portuguese and Spanish are the two main languages as if all other South American languages added on including English.
Out of 100 persons in South America, 86 persons are living in the urban areas, the highest rate in the world

The growth of French Guiana is frightening! 😮😮 Out of 25 thousand inhabitants, with Guyana being the least populated, in 2100 it will be the most populous Guyana, reaching close to 1 million inhabitants!

French Guiana is the richest of the Guianas by far. Immigration from Suriname and Brazil counts for a large part in this growth. And Canada is also a former French colony, not amongst the poorer countries in the world...@@Bocampeon_2022

Argentina grows alot in populatiom everytime there's wars or crisis in europa, when someone wants to get as far away to problems but at the same time go to a country that resembles europa, has big cities, pretty peaceful and good climates and not just hot the 365 days of the year like australia or south africa they go to argentina this is also the reason over 80% of our population is european descendants while the rest are mestizes and indigenous people.

Not really, some countrys like colombia have around a 20% indigenous percentage in their adn ppl while others like peru have around a 75%

Declining birth rates. It’s happening in every country. Even countries with high birth rates are declining steadily.

Most South American people used to have 4 or 5 children, but currently the average number of children per family is 2, and in a few years it will be 1 child per family. and so on, little by little we South Americans die 😢

Ecuador , Paraguay & Venezuela grew the highest between 150 yrs while Chile & Uruguay grew the slowest in the period
South America topped almost 492.8 million in 2055
- I'm suprised about French Guyana surpassing both Guyana and Suriname and I wonder if they will ever fight for independence during this century. - Uruguay never reaching anything over 3 million is so funny to me. - Argentina will grow significantly. obviously the prediction fails to take into account wars and mass migration through event such as colonisation programs. As the continent of Africa's population is expected to rise from 1.3 bn to 4.0 bn by 2100, one scenario that could happen is a huge number of Africans streaming into South America similar to what happened when Europe had a population boom and many of them went across to North America. Another scenario is that Asian powers try to colonise the continent.
