easy, immigration, but those numbers are the low ones. If imimgration continues at 300k every year than its actually supposed to be 77 million by 2050 or 80 million if 400k is kept. Good to see the UK grow and the rest of Europe slowly decline as you are to ignorant to have children. Not saying they arent ignorant here either but atleast they have the decency to accept immigrants and keep growing their country unlike poland.

Not sure why Turkey is included within Europe as most of its land is in Asia, most of its population lives on the Asian lands and the Turkish people are from a central Asian ethnic group. Including the Ottoman Empire made sense due to it taking a large part of the Balkans and large populations of people within the European lands, but modern Turkey barely has a sliver of territory in Europe.

@@POGKPP Można się pocieszać że żadne szacunki demograficzne Polski w ciągu ostatnich 100 lat się nie sprawdziły. Mianowicie w międzywojniu ci sami matematycy co złamali enigme prognozowali że liczba ludzi w Polsce mogłaby nawet dogonić liczbę Niemiec pod koniec ubiegłego wieku. Jak się sprawdziły dzięki wojnie i komunie i jej upadku wszyscy widzimy.

@@kosa9662 Szacunki w przyszłość a przeszłość to co innego. Szacuje się po liczbie domów i zagęszczeniu ludzi na metr kwadratowy, a następnie po liczbie miast. Jest to bardzo trudny proces, i mało miast zostało szczegółowo zrekonstruowanych, stąd też takie rozszczepy.

There is no one source. I used numerous estimates for early period. And censuses for 20th century+ (rarely for 19th and earlier). And estimates for 2050.

Russia wont have 135 million people in 2050 more like 110 million. They have high emigration and low fertility. Now you have additional sanctions and everythinhg will be worse... It could be even lower if chechnya and Tataristan try to declar independence. Than it more likely to assume 90 to 100 million. Europe has an interesting but declining future. I bet everything on the fact that ukraine will have less than 30 million people in 2050. The war destroyed their whole economy and future

How can Germany grow at the same rate as Turkey? German territory covers 357.022 km2. Turkey has twice as much land (783.562 km2) and yet it is equal to Germany in terms of population.

@@POGKPP po pierwsze liwonia nie przekraczała kilkusettysiecy i skąd niby miałby być skok ludności skoro liwonia stała się terytorium RP jeszcze w XVI wieku. Po drugie jaki chocim przecież te małe terytorium nie przekraczało kilku tysięcy ludności i należało do moldawi po rozejmie w buszy
