Yes, Mimosa is the newer name... the older name for that cocktail is a Bucks Fizz, for some, traditionally drunk at Christmas Breakfast!!

I owned a gift store in a mall in the Milwaukee area for years and years. We always went to the Atlanta gift show and just enjoyed it so much. I always picked several themes for trees and had so much fun seeing all the new items. And yes we found some favorite places to eat that we had to go to every year. My husband got so good at driving around in Atlanta that it felt like we lived there. Seeing those showrooms brought back great memories. Thank you for taking us along.

We love you too!!! We kept our Christmas tree etc up (they are still up) for two reasons: I'm a newlywed and my husband was without a tree for four years and missed having decorations. 2) My Dad passed away on Christmas Day 2020 so extending Christmas makes me think of him. Thank you for all you do!

Thank you for sharing.. You have inspired me to check what I have from my mother's decorations and me. This year I want to decorate to commemorate her live for Christmas. She passed in 2020 due to congestive heart failure . It's been tough as I leave to spend Christmas with my children and grandchildren in Georgia. Then I spent Christmas with my brother in South Carolina at my niece"s house before he passed with ALS. SO ITS BERN TOUGH. DO THIS YEAR 2023 I told the kids, I am staying home to decorate in memory to Mami, your Grandma, Daisy , Nana.

Mimosas, Oh my going to market! I miss it sooo much, I haven’t been since the 80’s Baby does was our fav. Not there anymore :( … lol. I still have the wicker bells I purchased my 1st time in early 80’s , n their back. Lol, I also have the skating bears! Tks for bring back wonderful memories. And yes, yes, yes track,/ walking shoes. Market is always fun & tiring especially for the showrooms that have been prepping for months (I speak from experience.) Atlanta is the biggest, but Las Vegas also has a very nice one. Market is NEVER open to the public & they are usually very protective about exclusivity (for lack of a better word) so it is uncommon to see a video of one, as you said you must have a resale license to attend. Great inspiration happens there for sure. Looking forward to your vision for Christmas 2023.

I’m loving what you chose for Christmas 2023! I don’t ever think you can go wrong with silver and gold and then adding a touch of that muted, soft, frosty blue will be absolutely glorious! Glitzy and glamorous is definitely my favorite Christmas decor! I like and appreciate the more natural and rustic or the traditional green and red, but it’s just not for me. I love the sparkle and love seeing the light play off of faceted crystal ornaments or the sheen of the metallics! Market is fun, overwhelming, exhausting, enlightening, fabulous and more eye candy than one can fully process! I’m so glad you shared it with us! I don’t ever tire of Christmas... in fact I’m still watching Christmas movies. Prolonging that wonderful feeling of being engulfed in the Christmas Spirit never gets old to me!
