【POPULAR DEMAND!!】How to make DOOR HINGE for 1/24 model car build

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

As there's frequent request, here's the footage of how to make the door hinge step by step. In fact, I've improvised it for many many times and I think this's the perfect version of the hinge. Not too complicated, but all you need perhaps is patience. ;)

Great breakdown of the hinge. Now need a full tutorial on making the door jamb. The hinge I don't really have an issue with but my door jambs always are a disaster!!!😂😂😂. Thanks for this.

Great video I'm definitely trying your method. I was using rods at the ends instead of one piece of styrene. I think the styrene is better. It's a way better support. Thanks for sharing.

I wouldn't use copper pipe and aluminum stick if I were you. Those two metals will corrode if left in contact with each other. It's better to use brass for both.

Thanks a lot! Great job and inspiration! I always thought that open elements are a "must" for 24 scale. By the way is the kinematics of the mechanism is the same for old and new cars? I've tried to do smth like this for a new car (2010 year model) but it looks like original cars have small elements which are inormously difficult to scale down without SLA-printer.

If you squeeze the cutters less, you don't actually cut through the thinner metal.
