Great video. I was considering a Popsocket for my Fold 5. Glad I checked out your video before purchasing and possibly receiving a used Popsocket being sold as new by our "friends" at Amazon

I would buy it at Best Buy or Target or another retailer to insure getting a new one. I actually like it it’s just overpriced and it also depends on the size of your fingers. It’s a tad small for me. I think some of the older versions are on sale on Amazon for like 20 bucks. At one point they were 15 right before the new ones came out.

I tried this popsocket for my fold 5 and ended up returning it. The popsocket does not pop out enough for bigger fingers to fit through comfortably. It is much tighter than the old sticky popsockets and even anchors magsafe battery pack that has a built-in popsocket. If you have large hand it's a very tight fit to slide your fingers between the popsocket and the phone. Popsocket needs to make this a little taller so that it matches their previous product line. I ended up buying a magsafe metal ring that also acts as a magnet and you can stick your phone to a fridge.

Yeah, it’s definitely for those with smaller or thinner fingers.

Which metal ring did you get and how's it holding up?

I got the bigger of the Andobol rings. I have used it daily for 3 months and it is holding up well. The metal ring may be getting slightly less resistance as it ages. I tried the smaller of their rings, but they did not last more than a few days before they lost resistance. @@jaydelcid7814

I'm not sure if you mean for the car, but actually don't use a metal ring for the car.

I was never a popsocket guy just because of the sticky stuff and I like switching out my cases And keep in mind I'm not an iPhone guy I got Magsafe cases for my ultra s23
