Popping Arm & Hand Angles/Positions - Tutorial

This video will demonstrate the basic arm and hand angles to use with popping style. I decided to make this video because there was no other free tutorials or videos for hand & arm angles online and for beginners this is really important to learn how to move the angles and what positions to use with popping. Every popping tutorial tells you how to pop your arms but not how to move the arms or what positions to pop in so I hope this video will help beginners
Also if you're interested in learning more, Jrock has a tutorial for hand and arm angles which I recommend watching, however you have to pay for it.

The main angles are not from tutting?

You can pop in any angles, toyman angles are easy to understand because they're simple shapes and lines. Tutting angles are harder to pop in because a lot of the arm angles are already bent and don't give much space to create a snapping illusion each isolation in tutting is a lot smaller movement meaning the pop is smaller too since you can't generate as much power with smaller movements. Open hand style which is what popin pete does where he's popping with open hands above his head, using the 4 corners and other angles that's harder to do because some of the angles aren't necessarily straight lines or geometric angles but rather more random movements that have a pop added to them. I may do another video with popping hand and arm angles in the future

@@GrowingDownUnder i see, most of, them are 90 degrees angles right, but in tut can you do 45 degrees angles or its strictly 90?

@@Gangstawalk1 90 degree angles are usually square angles like boxes but also right angles, but yes you can do a lot more than boxes and 90 degree angles in tutting. 45 degree angles are usually triangles and diagonal lines which are common in tutting too. The legs work really good with 45 degree angles too like if you're sitting down and ground tutting. However raising a knee to the side while standing can create the 45 degree angle too. With tutting usually the angles are straight lines and you don't really see curved lines in tutting unless it's a wave tut where you're connecting tuts with waving and sometimes finger tutting they incorporate curved lines with the fingers
