Y que una periodista ensobrada...

Se supone que un entrevistador debe permitir que el entrevistado termine su narración de los sucesos que conoce. Pero lamentablemente la mayoría de entrevistadores tienen la manía de interrumpirlos tan sólo por querer llevar la batuta. Lo bueno está en que "el pope" respondió con más facilidad de palabra que esa señora micha.

Thank you for uploading this interview. I get super annoyed whenever Popeye boast or claims that he doesn't feel bad for whatever he has done. But when he spoke about following Pablo's insane orders, you could tell from his eyes that there were so much regrets in his actions. I recently watched a documentary about Richard Kuklinski, the "Ice Man" who was also a hitmen. He, like Popeye, claims he doesn't feel a thing, but when the person who interviewed him spoke about his kids, his stone-cold eyes changed as well. When I saw how both Popeye and the Iceman eyes changed, I want to believe that at the end of the day, there is still some kindness in them. The same goes for Pablo, this madman could sacrifice hundreds of innocent lives just for one men who wasn't even onboard the flight during the Avianca bombing, but the same man would give the world to his kids. I want to believe, matter how bad, how inhumane we all are.. there is still that little bit of good left in humanity. Today I pray that the world will not see another bloodshed, no more murder, no more wars, no more starvation, no more poverty, no more crying, no more suffering. And I pray that someday my prayers would be answered.

That's the thing I felt... regret isn't that useful but remorse is and he doesn't have either. Despite the shallow job this this interviewer did it's clear he only wants to speak to the youth because he sees that as a demographic to sell his story too. He doesn't speak of any of his countless victims beside the woman he slept with any sense of remorse he can't or won't see the children pregnant woman and countless others who were not on any side of justification for his mass murderer with being at war. The people of the pueblo he says are his biggest fans have been the same victims of the same state sanctioned murders he supposedly fought against for his idol at the cost of everyone else but him. There are plenty of examples of real champions of the people in Colombia. He wasn't it. Here's one. Popeye es un personaje de esos pocos que puede poner a prueba la verdadera misión, visión y talento de un periodista o entrevistador,... en realidad no eh visto el primero con esa sagacidad neutral para lograr sacar la información verdaderamente importante en una entrevista de este nivel. Ni se verá ya,... Pues todos cayeron en la parcialidad y en ese querer juzgar los diferentes comportamientos del humano desde un punto de vista muy sentimental, que es algo muy humano y natural, pero a la final es poco veraz para emitir un veredicto.

Las entrevistas con Rafael Poveda son de otro nivel, con un Popeye más joven y mucho más fuerte en sus declaraciones, si nos las haz visto, para mi son las mejores entrevistas que existen de Popeye; lo deja hablar, no le cambia el tema y respeta los tiempos de Popeye, no como por ejemplo esta entrevista, que lo interrumpen muchas veces, un saludo.

Wow, this three part interview was really interesting. That guy has a very particular dialect so my Spanish was nearly worthless but with the subtitles it felt like a total deep dive. That man spoke (nearly) without any limitations.

As a interviewer I HOPE YOU , YES YOU THE LADY TALKING TO POPEYE , can continue to run these interviews without putting your crazy emotions, I saw many times the patience popeye shows but the interviewer couldn’t get past her emotions and the truth and couldn’t get past the idea in her head that the the person she was interviewing was a retired sicario. Be grateful u got these interview and don’t criticize if u don’t like just interview and that’s IT!

It was a novela... overacting matched with his bravado all to make higher ratings and more sales and hype for his legacy. Being critical is an important part of journalism but she is terrible being constructively critical which left people choosing sides instead getting into something like he brought up which was a vital miss.
