At the end of the Marian month of May Pope Francis prayed the Rosary for Peace in Ukraine and around the world. In front of the statue of Maria Regina Pacis in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, the Pope contemplated the sorrowful mysteries of the Rosary in unison with Marian shrines around the world, including the Shrine of the Mother of God in Zarvanytsia in western Ukraine.
