In a video message, the Holy Father noted that in the past century, Catholics in China have endured "times of patience and trial" and he encouraged them "to testify to their faith through works of mercy and charity, while promoting the harmony of social coexistence." Senior Vatican Analyst at EWTN News, Frank Rocca, joins to share the importance of this event. This conference comes almost 6 years after an agreement between the Vatican and China on the appointment of bishops in China. Rocca tells us more about that. Praise the Lord God our Father. Lord show us your mercy and heal our ailments. Protect us against Corona Virus Pandemic. For our family and near and dear ones. For our spiritual and temporal wants. For the Pope bishops priests religious and all Catholics of the world. Thanksgiving for favours received. Thank you Jesus thank you Holy Father
The bishop of Shanghai was not installed by the church but rather by the CCP. The bishop is now saying the China Catholic church needs to separate itself from the Church's of Rome. Pop Francis indorsed this by anointing the bishop of China
