@Painindeass1million Sad, they did the same too with Lauren Mitchell back then on Olympic Games Floor event final (2012) 🤦♀️ That's NBC for you
i’m crying ugly tears! this girl has been through hell and back with injuries and i’m so glad that she didn’t give up and is finally back on the world stage! it’s what she deserves
She's so freaking talented!! I hope she manages to be injury free cause she has so much potential... and she can dance!

@@tomasduarte6633 I get the point. But Team Spain themselves have qualified for the Olympic Games. Roxana Popa does have the potential to compete.
FIG: you can't stand with your both feet in the corner in all 4 passes. Roxana: I don't care. FIG: understandable, have a nice day.

I'm not sure that's accurate but could be wrong. I think what's more important to the whack ass WTC is having them dance INTO the corner.

I think they should just say you can't stand too long in a corner instead of the stand on one foot rule.
OMG That was insane!! One of the best floor exercises this quad so far! Glad she is better than ever!

she is a romanian, "roxana popa" says it all, her parents emigrated to Spain some 16 years ago.
She needs to bring back 2.5 to punch front as her third pass for a 5.6!
She reminds me so much of Alicia Sacramone ❤️❤️❤️ So powerful, dynamic and sassy.
Wow - One of the best routines of the quad! If only that subjective statement translated in any way to her scoring potential... (same sentiment with Brooklyn Moors).

So she does this incredible routine, she sticks every landing and she doesn´t get medals??? Like I see her at the same level than Melnikova, for example

Yeah it Is a shame and she Is very consistent as well the problem was maybe the difficulty which was 5,4 while melnikova was 5,8-5,9

She qualified for floor finals but didn't stick her landings there, sadly. Still had a beautiful routine though.

Her start value is also significantly lower that Melnikova and the other medal contenders. If she upgrades she really could challenge for a medal because she is so clean

Probably she developed the Mustafina from the Memmel recently or wasn't 100% sure about completing it, so she didn't trained the routine with both turns. Actually the only girl I remember doing both Mustafina and Memmel was Aliya herself.
