I love how he cuts everything "by eye" but they still end up really straight and accurate. O.O

Unbelievably clear and logical introduction to pop-ups. I'm so impressed with your generosity. I just bought your book and will be following all your video tutorials. Thank you so much!
Who the heck is hitting the "dislike" button! This is amazing! Thanks for making these videos.
"Outstanding tutorial!. The instruction and products are creative and very well demonstrated!.
2020 I can't explain how beautiful is this series of tutorials, love your work and your lessons, I hope this year would be great for you.
Thank you. That was EXACTLY what I have been looking for. Armed with the principles you have so clearly explained I can start planning what situations I want to pop-up into life. I thought your use of existing books to illustrate how the basic methods work in practice was inspirational.
I'm a teacher getting ready to try a unit with fifth graders. I was looking for some resources and came across your tutorials. I learned so much from this first tutorial and my daughter and I were able to jump right in. I can't wait to watch the series. Thank you for creating such a wonderful resource!
Your tutorials are so valuable . I am a teacher for little kids and this information IS gold
Bought a couple of your books not realising there would be these great tutorials...so what a bonus; thank you for your generosity. Just finished watching. Your clear, simple instructions, along with demonstration and showing examples from real books has made the task of making pop ups, (and in my case showing/inspiring kids), so much easier... So lucky, technology such as KZread allows accessibility to all.

This is an amazing series. I decided to make my grandson a pop up book and realized that I needed to go back to actually make these pop ups along with Duncan. I bought his book and several others but seeing it in action is invalueable addition to seeing it print. Thank you so much for this series.

Me too. I bought the book but wished I could observe someone actually making the various pop ups. I did a search on the internet and was delighted to find that the same person who wrote the book I was enjoying had made tutorials on KZread. I’ve decided to make the pop ups he demonstrates and keep them as a reference. I learn better by “doing” rather than just watching.
I came upon this video by accident and now grateful for it. I really like this introduction. It's very simple, to the point with numerous visual examples. I love the different collection of pop up books you've shown! And towards the end, when you showed your example of multiple folds, it blew me a-w-a-y! Inspiring! I gotta try this! Thanks so very much!
Here I am in 2022 and I really wanted to learn how to make effective pop up cards and this tutorial was exactly what I was looking for! Subscribed and turned on notifications, thank you so much!
Honestly, you have a gift with instruction. Clarity and prescision. I so appreciate your tutorial. Best to you and be well.
I'm quite impressed! Thank you so much for your tutorial, I'm definitely going to buy your book. My daughter and I have been struggling with making school projects into pop-up book and never quite understood the principles behind. Now it's very clear to me and even more interesting. Thank you!
I might have been five or six years old when I first saw a pop-up book. I was dazzled by it. Many years later, I'm just as amazed and delighted by pop-ups. The glimpses of spectacular pop-ups from books that were published a long time ago were fabulous! (And many thanks for providing such a wealth of information about the "basic rules" of pop-ups! I hope that with practice I'll be able to add pop-up elements to the cards I make.)

Student here, I wanted to make a pop-up book for an assignment. There was a lot of folds types that I never knew, thank goodness that this video exists.
I have been dying to find easy to read instructions (I just prefer reading vs. videos) on making pop-up cards and any I found, either the instructions were poor AND practically every single one had ads surrounding every possible square inch of the article, were pissing me off and distracting as heck. So I decided to give a search on KZread a chance. Most of the videos were blah, but then I stumbled across this channel. ❤ YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER! ❤ I subscribed immediately after, possibly even before watching the Pop-Up Tutorial 1, when I saw all the other videos/play lists and how they were getting more advanced. I don’t subscribe to too many channels, but this one is definitely on my top 5 list! You are awesome!

You are right; but I love to dream about your teaching and endless posibilities. I stick to collage because it gives me a lot of texturin and colors.Mexico is a very visual country: in every city in every small rural town, there is a visual expression with local material as clay and primitive colors. Now they are developing colors thanks to industrial colors. Well I am Mexican and my brain dreams and my hands make experiments with you teaching Thakyou very very much, for you professional teaching step by step I dont intend to learn much theorethicaly, I want to do much with the litle I learn from you step by step. Thankyou very very much Teacher sir Mr Duncan.
