Bought a couple of your books not realising there would be these great tutorials...so what a bonus; thank you for your generosity. Just finished watching. Your clear, simple instructions, along with demonstration and showing examples from real books has made the task of making pop ups, (and in my case showing/inspiring kids), so much easier... So lucky, technology such as KZread allows accessibility to all.

Me too. I bought the book but wished I could observe someone actually making the various pop ups. I did a search on the internet and was delighted to find that the same person who wrote the book I was enjoying had made tutorials on KZread. I’ve decided to make the pop ups he demonstrates and keep them as a reference. I learn better by “doing” rather than just watching.

I might have been five or six years old when I first saw a pop-up book. I was dazzled by it. Many years later, I'm just as amazed and delighted by pop-ups. The glimpses of spectacular pop-ups from books that were published a long time ago were fabulous! (And many thanks for providing such a wealth of information about the "basic rules" of pop-ups! I hope that with practice I'll be able to add pop-up elements to the cards I make.)

I have been dying to find easy to read instructions (I just prefer reading vs. videos) on making pop-up cards and any I found, either the instructions were poor AND practically every single one had ads surrounding every possible square inch of the article, were pissing me off and distracting as heck. So I decided to give a search on KZread a chance. Most of the videos were blah, but then I stumbled across this channel. ❤ YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER! ❤ I subscribed immediately after, possibly even before watching the Pop-Up Tutorial 1, when I saw all the other videos/play lists and how they were getting more advanced. I don’t subscribe to too many channels, but this one is definitely on my top 5 list! You are awesome!

Now they are developing colors thanks to industrial colors. Well I am Mexican and my brain dreams and my hands make experiments with you teaching Thakyou very very much, for you professional teaching step by step I dont intend to learn much theorethicaly, I want to do much with the litle I learn from you step by step. taking Alevel-Fine art and making a few pop-up book pages for a final piece. I got stuck on the big V-fold centre page and this was super helpful at giving me ideas on how to re-construct it. Thanks so much literally saved my final project
