Sex Addiction is all the rage now in Hollywood. So many celebrities are claiming that they are sex addicts and need REHAB.
Is sex addiction a serious issue for celebrities? Or are these celebrities (like Tiger Woods, Jesse James among others) using it as an EXCUSE to appear favourably in the eyes of the audience so that we can feel sorry for them? This way anytime a celebrity cheats, they can say: I have a problem and I cant help it.
I believe that Sex Rehab is the new HOT addiction and the new excuse for getting caught in the cookie jar. After researching sex rehab programmes and clinics in the US celebrities can pay upwards of $40,000 to seek help in battling their sex addiction. My issue with celebrities using sex rehab as a crutch can do more harm than good.
Even those that are victims of adulterous husbands / boyfriends etc., are portrayed at times as weak and are seen as forgiving. We still dont know what will ultimately happen to various sex rehab Hollywood patients and their significant others what is known, is that this sex rehab addiction will definitely spill over to mainstream culture.
No matter what, there will be more adulterers in Hollywood.
