Definitely my favorite mv of her. From the aesthetic, the opening, the story, the message. One of my favorite details about it is the lady smiling until she sees his reaction. She thought that he’d be smiling with joy but instead he tells her to be quiet when she asks what’s wrong. LOVED this reaction! ❤️❤️

Melanie Martinez - ‘Mrs. Potato Head’ was the hardest song to write on the album. I had the idea for it for a while, just the title and the comparison to how you can, you know, change the pieces of Mrs. Potato Head’s face, and how that can double as a meaning for changing how you look. I think it was the hardest song to write just because I didn’t want it to come off as, you know, bashing people who get plastic surgery in any way, because that wasn’t the point. The whole point was, changing how you look isn’t gonna fix your insecurities.

Fun fact: Mrs. Potato Head was the hardest song for Melanie to write on this album. Next is Mad Hatter and you’re not ready, it’s one of my favourite Melanie music videos of ALL time. Also I can’t wait for Down, it’s going to be so good 😍

You should react in parts like for example part 1 of k-12 then part 2 and part 3 something like that

For sure watch the K-12 movie, the songs just make a lot more sense and the aesthetic is everything...definitely my personal favorite album of Melanie

that song BROKE me when I heard it the first time but it's also beautiful haha, loved the reaction tbh this is one of my favorites

Oh my god, this song the first time I heard it broke me. At the time I heard this song I was transitioning from Female to Male, and no matter what gender I presented as my body image issues broke me. It seemed like I was too ugly to be a woman and even when I found my true identity as a man, I wasn’t “manly” enough. I needed a six pack, and to be tall, and I suffered pretty hard with an ED. This song really helped pull me out of that place. I know we all suffer in our ways, some worse than others, but I hope everyone here knows how beautiful and loved you are. You are worth it, and deserve happiness.

The songs from k-12 are much more louder in the movie. I would react to the movie because the individual music videos have low sound or you can choose to listen to the audios. 💗

A fantastic way to end d album is to react to d movie nd saying goodbye to d trilogy just saying jsje

so I think the best way to react to k-12 is to watch the movie because it can help you understand the meaning behind the album. In the movie it’s like a bunch of music videos for all of the k-12 songs combined into a film, so kind of a musical? I don’t know but I would recommend the movie!!

OH YES.

I strongly recommend you watch the K-12 movie!!! You could upload the reaction in 3 parts and edit it down because all reactors have to deal with copyright when uploading this movie reaction. But it’s worth the trouble cause you’ll miss out the storyline if you only watch the MVs

Hi Liya! I am suggesting what I think is the best way for you to react to k-12 when it is time. I personally think that you should watch the film, but watch all the parts of the film until it gets up to the song, and then end the reaction at the end of each song, where you will pick up and continue watching next time! I think that is a good way to do it and it is the way I have seen a few other reactors do it

You could react only to the mvs from K-12 individually but they're a lot better with the film. They just make more sense since the film is really important for the story of Crybaby.

Also if you couldn't record one really long vid you could do it in parts.

I think you could react to the K-12 Film in parts. Like part one could be the first scene with the 1st song. And part two would be till after the 2nd song

Hey Liya! In my opinion the only way to watch the K-12 visuals are as the full movie. Otherwise it doesn't make sense without context, or without seeing the transitional scenes between songs, and some songs are cut a little short. I'd recommend watching the movie, but splitting it into parts. Or you could watch each transitional scene and it's song together, and upload each transitional scene+song to KZread as separate videos (and get more content out of it he he). Hope you enjoy K-12! Oh and one more thing, one of my favourite songs, Recess, is cut up in the movie so nooone gets to hear the full song 🥺 even if you don't react to the full song you should listen to it in full in your own time
