Poorman's Digital Race Dash + 1K SUBS! - Tunerview & HTS - Civic EG Track Car Build

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hey, friends! Welcome to the first video of the New Year! Hope all has been well with everyone. In this video I run you guys through a concept I'd like to implement into my Civic in order to clean up the, less than pleasing, zip tie fastened instrument cluster. I put together some things to make a poorman's digital race dash and it comes out pretty darn good!

    Out of curiosity would you happen to have a parts listing for a k20a swap into a 04 civic lx sedan? I know you need custom mounts but besides that I believe there is something with o2 sensors and the ecu. Wanna do the swap but keep it legit with no lights in the dash.

I ran the flr Scca autocross out in the finger lakes region at the Seneca Army depot in central New York and placed first in novice my first time running. Ran a bone stock 2017 civic Si. Those types of runs are amazing. Drag is fun but it has nothing on going into turns and powering out!!

    Hey, thanks! A lot of support for the S100 has gone obsolete and from what I remember you need someone with a Dealer version of S200, Romeditor, and the dongle. Pain in the ass. You’re best bet is to upgrade the S100 to the most current S300 version which is actually what I’m currently running. I’ve attached Hondata’s upgrade form below. Hope this helps! www.hondata.com/downloads/s300v3_upgrade_form.pdf

    I have a genuine question. You mentioned not to use low impedance injectors or it will harm a chipped ecu. I'm about to start doing some modifications to my 1994 Accord Wagon. The engine is a F22B2. I'm throwing a F22b1 head on and wiring in my vtec. It has an OBD1 system with the injector resistor box intact. It uses low impedance injectors stock. Before I even begin repinning the 2 wires i have to so I can run my chipped P28 with a F22 basemap should I bypass the resistor box and install some high impedance F23 injectors first? Putting alot of time into it so I want to make sure I don't stress the electrical system or ECU by not getting my ducks in a row first. Many thanks ahead of time dude you're the best!

  • @bvspeed

    @bvspeed

    2 жыл бұрын

    That’s a great question! If your fuel system originally has low impedance injectors (ie h-series, f-series, and older civic’s/integra’s), an oem resistor box, and you want to keep the resistor box, then you can absolutely use low impedance (peak and hold) injectors. It’s just that my videos are on the OBD1 ECU powering the B-series, which in hindsight, I should’ve mentioned. Rule of thumb is if you’re using Peak and Hold injectors (low impedance) then you must use a resistor box or the injector drivers in the ECU will get fried. If you don’t use a resistor box, then your injectors must be Saturated (high impedance). Your setup will be fine!
