But I thought women wanted to be self-reliant and treated like "real people." Obviously, these stories appeal to the many women who still just want to sit on their cans and be served. Princess Diana didn't think the royal life was so great. Of course, she still wanted the money.

Women keep on being fed romances involving only millionaires (and now billionaires!!) and princes; so much so that their expectations are so out of wack that they think every one of them DESERVES that top of the top (at least financially) type of man (of course, they'd have to be tall and handsome as well! LOL!).

And because she never gets what she thinks she deserves, she's unhappy and makes all around her unhappy. Most of the time she "has to settle" but still dreams about what those idiotic movies depict.

There have been very few TV movies and films like that, but usually, the guy is at least middle class and still very handsome. Women do marry down if they want "the power" in a relationship. Look at who Julia Roberts and some women rock stars have latched onto.

Unfortunately there is only one film concept someone gets what they do not have for no effort or cost. Boy amazes family with magic powers. Poor girl gets prince. Man gets either incredible fighting abilities without training or exercise or wealth and women without work or charm. Old people become athletes without exercise. Countries revisit wars that they lost and by time travel now they win. Boy is chosen for greatness by aliens and gets a cool car as well. That’s show business

I don’t understand why these videos, although otherwise well done, constantly shift back and forth between mirror images of the same scene. It’s so odd. Now he’s sitting on her left… now he’s sitting on the right. Now you can read the newspaper, now it’s backwards and you can’t read it. Don’t these guys review their videos? So weird!
