this is poor unfortunate souls from the early 1988 story reel/pencil test/workprint for the little mermaid! the original file is such bad quality that it was really difficult to remaster it, but i think it turned out pretty decent!
for those of you who want more evolution videos, they're still coming! i tried to upload one last night but it got blocked so in the meantime i'm uploading this :)

nope! it’s from around the same time, but it’s definitely older then the one used for the alternate version because there are shots that are still storyboarded in this one, that had been roughy animated by the time of the workprint used on the platinum edition dvd
