I have visited this place in 2019 in kodaikanal in monsoon time... It does looks the same as shown in video.. It's very picturesque.. Even I was amaze that such place exist... It's peaceful & blissful

Kodaikanal know as the magical land bcos of the beauty of nature exists there 20 years ago.when that time the whole Kodai was more beautiful than poondi today.The increase of tourist visitors and the developments destroy the magical nature of kodai.but the deeper areas like poondi still had the remains of that magic.most of the visitors don't know about these areas.By the increase of visitors remaining magical lands of kodai will completly destroy.Poondi is not a tourist destination.it is a less explored land and it should be less explored always.Let Poondi to be hidden💚

Been to this place there is a track of 3 kms to a lake where you will only hear the sound of water, air and birds chirping try kukkal lake as well the view is just amazing been going to Kodaikanal, Vattakanal since 2012 and each time I go there I keep falling in love with that place but be careful about attapuchi (Leach) carry salt or apply dettol or shampoo to your shoes as suggested by the locals!

Your videos are amazing, that bird sounds are soothing, thanks youtube recomending this channel.

Why does it have to be switzerland of Tamilnadu? Why can't it be Poondi? Why does it have to have some other place's identity to describe its own beauty? That's undermining its beauty and uniqueness and I don't think drawing this parallel is fair.

BEEN THERE STAYED THERE FOR A 3 DAYS BATHED IN THE DAM TREKKED IN THE KODAIKANAL SCHOOL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SUMMER CAMP. A WONDERFUL VILLAGE WITH 40 FAMILIES WITH 1 SCHOOL IN THE CENTRE AND A PREACHOR VILLAGE HEAD AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL RUNS THE VILLAGE. ITS SWEET.
